"Do you have the same idea that I have?" Yoongi beams.

"I believe so."
-

I spent the rest of the day hanging out with Yoongi at his workplace, doing a wide range of activities to keep each other entertained. I helped him with his work, we goofed off around the store, I even bought some stuff; and that isn't even half of it. I really did have a lot of fun, honestly.

At nearly 8pm, he glanced at the clock.

"Oh, my shift is almost over," he states quietly, close to a whisper, as if he were telling himself instead of me.

"Ah, already? I actually had fun," I say honestly, not even bothering to lie about it.

"Yeah, me too. Thanks for sticking around here so that I'm not as bored," he begins with a small smile, before sighing lightly. "Now all I have to do is wait until the guy with the next shift comes in. This is a 24-hour shop after all."

"Okay," I acknowledge before sitting up onto the counter to wait.

After around five minutes, another man walks through the door. He seems to be around Yoongi's age. The two males do some weird handshake before saying their incredibly informal goodbyes, Yoongi then walking towards the door. They must be close.

Yoongi steps in front of me to open the door for me. "Wow, so respectful," I remark with a slightly sarcastic tone.

"Yep, that's me," he brags, letting go of the door.

We both turn to face each other on the sidewalk.

"Well, goodnight," I give a shy wave before starting to walk away.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asks.

"Home," I say, almost as a question.

"Not without me walking you there," he swiftly strolls up beside me.

"Y-You don't have to," I suggest, waving my hands in a manner as to emphasize my words, which only ends up emphasizing the pink tint on my face.

"It's okay. It's late, and you never know what could happen, so I should at least try to protect my new friend," Yoongi offers.

"I guess, if you say so," I submit. He pats my head in response before motioning for me to begin walking.

We both proceed to my apartment, maintaining random conversations throughout the walk.

Eventually, we reach the entrance of my apartment.

"Well," Yoongi awkwardly says, not really knowing what to say. He begins to open his mouth to speak again, but I cut him off with a hug an action which not even I anticipated.

"Thanks for today, it was fun," I admitted into his chest. He soon hugs back, wrapping his arms around my back.

"You're welcome, and I had fun too," he whispers lightly into my hair.

I later back away to pull out my keys.

"Bye, then," I shyly bid.

"Farewell," he says dramatically, provoking laughter from both of us.

I put my key into the lock, opening the door to my apartment. I wave goodbye to him before closing the door behind me. Immediately, my phone lights up.

It's an AirDrop request — from 'Yoongi's iPhone'.

I accept the AirDrop request. This time, instead of receiving a photo, there is a link.

I go to the link; as soon as it loads, I notice that it's a music playlist. The playlist title is "Insomnia Songs" and the description reads, "I found some songs that help me fall asleep, so I figured they might help you too. Goodnight."

I smile at the kind gesture. It must have taken him a long time to make this playlist, considering that there are over 100 songs. It's also pretty thoughtful, considering that now I'm so excited by the events of today to even think of falling asleep.

After sending a text of gratitude to Yoongi, I began to get ready to sleep. A few minutes later, I set my phone onto the nightstand, plugging in the charger and my earbuds. As I put the earbuds into my ears, listening to the calming music, I lay my head onto the soft material of my pillow. I quickly find myself falling asleep to the soothing songs.
