Last night, after spending well over an hour at the small playground, we continued walking to my house.

The brilliant white stars contrasted beautifully against the pitch black sky. It was difficult to keep our eyes off of the ethereal sight above us. For some reason it all seemed clearer than usual, but I'm sure that there are plenty of scientific explanations for that.

"You know, my life has been so much better with you in it," Yoongi softly states, his eyes still focused on the night sky.

"Me too," I admit, just as quietly.

He tilts his head down now, easily making eye contact with me, despite the lack of light.

"I wasn't really a great person before you came along," he began, sighing faintly before continuing. "I wasn't sociable and I definitely wasn't the type of person that people wanted to spend time with. It's not like I did anything illegal or whatever, I just had a rather bad attitude. But, somehow, by some strange miracle, this one stupid girl came in during my shift one day. At the time, I just wanted to help her. Little did I know that she would become such a valuable friend of mine." He grimaced, followed by a laugh, "God, I sound so stupid right now."

I chuckled in response. "Nope, you're actually pretty good with words," I add, nudging him lightly.

"Thanks," he mumbled with a small smile.

There was a pause before I began speaking. "Up until you came into my life, everything seemed like it was in black and white. It used to be so boring. I used to be so boring. I was so caught up in routine and I never made time to relax. When I met you, it was like I began seeing color for the first time. Things suddenly became exciting. I realized that life isn't just about paying the bills. Life is about so many other things, big and small. Life is about the people you meet and the moments you share with them, and I'm glad that I can share moments with you."

Then, we shared a hug.
A small moment, but a beautiful one nonetheless.

We eventually arrived at my apartment, said our goodbyes, and Yoongi went home.

Today at work is as usual, mostly. It's a busy day. Sometimes we have really busy days, with no explanation as to why the shop is so packed. I guess people just feel like it on some days.

'Hate Everything' by Golden playing softly in the background, I continue working diligently. After a while, the rush hour is over, and I briefly look up to the television. More news about that string of robberies. Apparently, this time they hit up a convenience store. My eyes trail back down to my work only to widen unimaginably within seconds. I stop in my tracks, thoroughly analyzing the red ribbon at the bottom of the television screen. You know, that alert ribbon on the news channel? Yeah, that's the one. Someone has been injured. Then I focus on the video portion of the screen. Fuck.

"Mr. Son! Mr. Son!" I frantically dart around to find my manager, soon finding him in the back. "Mr. Son! There's an emergency, I really need to leave. I will work extra hours to make up for it."

"Sure, go ahead."

"Thank you, Mr. Son."

"Good luck."

With that, I find myself running as fast as my feet can carry me, which, I find, isn't as fast as I had imagined.

After running for far too long, the small convenience store is in sight. I'm too far away to distinguish people, but I notice several police vehicles and an ambulance.

As I approach further, I see what I was rather hoping not to see: Yoongi sitting in the back of the ambulance.

When I'm close enough for him to notice me, he waves at me with his left arm. His right arm, as well as much of his body, is not visible to me due to the amount of people surrounding him. Most of those people are policemen, asking question after question.

Several minutes pass, and so do the policemen. They move away, revealing the rest of Yoongi's body. My eyes widen at the sight of his right arm, which is obviously injured. He notices my expression, giving a weak smile in return. The paramedics soon get their turn to swarm around Yoongi, working to treat his arm.
