Stupid girl
"I really don't know, Lucina. I don't think I'm good enough." (Y/n) said, both her and Lucina were walking to the cafeteria.
"Why don't I get one of the guys to help you? I think Ike or Roy would do it." Lucina offered. (Y/n) just shrugged her shoulders,
"I would, but Ike is too strong and Roy is too..loud."
Lucina giggled,
"I guess you're right."
"But maybe someone else, like..Link?" (Y/n) offered, Lucina shook her head.
"Way too quiet, hell..the guy can't even talk."
"Okay, okay, fine. How about Marth?"
"Nope."
"Simon?"
"Does he even have a sword?" Lucina asked, (Y/n) shrugged.
"I don't think so, damn it. I don't think I can find a good teacher!" (Y/n) covered her eyes with her hands, she groaned in annoyance. Lucina then jolted up,
"I know!"
"What?" (Y/n) looked up at her friend,
"I know the perfect person to teach you!"
"Who?" (Y/n) stared at her confused.
"Cloud Strife!" Lucina yelled, just as if on que; Cloud walked into the cafeteria.
"What!" (Y/n) yelled, shocked. "Why him?!"
"He's strong, and he trains religiously. Why don't you ask him?" The two girls looked at the blonde swordsman, (Y/n) only shook her head.
"He's so serious, though. One sarcastic remark and I'll have a buster sword through my chest." (Y/n) rested her head on her hands, she looked up to see Cloud looking at her. (Y/n) quickly looked down, Lucina took notice at this.
"I think he has a soft spot for you." Lucina smirked, (Y/n) had a soft smile on her face.
"Oh, shut up!" She giggled. Lucina laughed, she then got up.
"Where you going?" (Y/n) asked,
"To go ask him to teach you." Lucina said, she then quickly walked away before (Y/n) could protest.
"No!" (Y/n) called after her, (y/n)'s face held embarrassment. She felt her face heat up when she saw Lucina talking to him, Lucina then pointed to (Y/n). Who had taken this chance to dive under the table in embarrassment, (Y/n) knew that this was childish but she couldn't let Cloud see her red face. (Y/n) rested her hands on her face,
"Why me?!" (Y/n) rolled her eyes,
"(Y/n)?" Lucina called out. (Y/n) then poked her head out from under the table.
"Yes?" She said, casually. Lucina looked down, she gave (Y/n) a confused look.
"Wh- nevermind, you have a lesson in ten minutes."
"What?!" (Y/n) said, she then began to crawl out from under the table.
"Go get changed, he'll be waiting for you." Lucina smiled.
"Okay!" (Y/n) then got up and ran towards her room.

(Y/n) walked into the training room, she saw Cloud waiting for her. He had his arms crossed, his sword was behind him.
"You're late." He said, flatly.
"By two minutes." (Y/n) said, confused. He just rolled his eyes,
"Got your sword?" He asked, (Y/n) nodded.
"Here." She held it up, Cloud nodded.
"Now tell me, why did you want to train with the sword?" Cloud asked, (Y/n) shifted awkwardly.
"Oh, it wasn't my idea. My mother thought it was a good idea, she thought it would be a great why to find myself a husband. When that didn't work, I still tried to train by myself..and obviously It did not turn out good." (Y/n) smiled shyly up at Cloud.
"So, you still continue to train?" Cloud asked, (Y/n) nodded.
"I had nothing else to do, so I might as well get better at it." (Y/n) had a small, ghost of a smile. Cloud only nodded as he looked down at the small girl.
"Now," (Y/n) clapped her hands together "what's first, Master." She joked. Cloud just shook his head, he then walked behind (Y/n) and guided her form into the fighting form. Her cheeks flushed pink, he placed on of his hands on hers. He positioned her hands on the grip of the sword, slowly placing her form in the correct position.
An hour had past, and the two would not stop arguing.
"(Y/n), you have to place your hands there!" Cloud yelled,
"But they want to go here!" She yelled back,
"Stop being so stubborn!" Cloud crossed his arms. (Y/n) only chuckled.
Cloud turned around,
"I think you had enough practice for today.." he trailed off.
"I can still do more!" She called out, Cloud only shook his head. "Help me, Obiwan kenobi. You're my only hope." (Y/n) said with a small smile on her face, Cloud stopped in his tracks. He turned around with a small smile in his face, as if trying to fight back a laugh.
"Fine.." he trailed off, (Y/n) smiled triumphantly. He then got in front of her and guided her through the basic forms and power that went into the sword. (Y/n) would always look at Clouds face, his very focused look on what she was doing.
"Cloud?" (Y/n) looked at him, she stopped what she was doing.
"Hmm?"
"Why did you agree to teach me?" She could see his focused look drop for a second before he recovered it.
"You needed help, and I'm giving it to you." He said bluntly.
"Oh," (Y/n)'s gaze went to the floor "is that it?"
"I..don't want you to get hurt in the battle arena." Cloud said, he continued to cross his arms. (Y/n) then smiled up at him,
"Aw! I knew you had a heart!" She lightly punched Cloud's arm, Cloud just huffed.
