She is always in my corner
(Y/n) knew that Ryu had a self esteem problem, he would always become skeptical whenever he saw another man with her. Even Ken said that Ryu's emotions are fragile, and ever since Ryu asked her to be with him, he would try to prove that he was the best boyfriend. Of course he had his days of being a jealous and protective boyfriend, but he did care a lot for (Y/n).
(Y/n) knew that Ryu's sore spot was comparing him to Ken, he had always been competitive. But of course, without fail, Ken would always come out on top. Which would lead to the two of them arguing about why (Y/n) was with him and not Ken, and she would always argue back saying,
"Ryu, I fell in love with you. Not your friend. I will ways stand with you." Ryu, not believing her would walk out and not return until a couple of hours later. He would beg her to forgive him, which she would.
Today was the same, Ryu would be training with Ken, but this time he wanted his wife to watch. (Y/n) was hesitant, but agreed. Ryu grabbed (Y/n)'s hand and they both walked to the training center.
(Y/n) saw Lucina and Samus,
"Okay, I'll see you after the session." Ryu went to walk away but was pulled back by (Y/n), she kissed him on the cheek, turning red. Both of his friends laughed at his embarrassment,
"(Y/nnn)" he groaned, touched the place where she kissed him. (Y/n) giggled,
"I'll be sitting with Lucina."
Ryu nodded, then walked off.
It had been about an hour into the training session, now it would be time for them to spar off against each other, the three girls then stood up from their seats. (Y/n) gripped Samus's hand, she was nervous for her boyfriend, but she kept a brave face.
Ken and Ryu sparred off, Lucina and Samus loudly cheered for both of their brothers. (Y/n) cheered for Ryu as he managed to land a blow on Ken. She smiled as she could see the confidence growing in Ryu, after a couple of more minutes the fight soon ended with Ryu coming out on top. (Y/n) cheered loud, maybe a little bit too loud. Because they all looked at her, she then stood straight up and said
"That's my boyfriend." She then walked down the steps to see her boyfriend. This caused Lucina and Samas to giggle, Ken then smiled kindly at Ryu.
"What?" Ryu gave him a weird look.
"Looks like you found yourself a cheerleader." Ken looked towards (Y/n), Ryu smiled kindly at his girlfriend.
"Yes, she's my motivation and she's always right there when I need her."
