So sorry for not writing in a while. My school year just started and my life's kinda hectic.

*Gabriel POV*
"Wow, I didn't know you were a homo too, Cassie," Anna growled stalking into the living room.
"Leave him alone, Anna. We don't need or want your snarky attitude," I shot back. Castiel shrank into his chair a little bit. Anna gave me an evil glare as she left the room. Seemingly she had only came in to start an argument. It's a good thing I can always shoot her down. I worry about Castiel when I'm not around though. I walked over and perched myself on the armrest of Castiel's chair. "Just ignore her, Cas," I smiled kindly at my little brother.
"Now you're calling me that too?" Cas grumbled.
"You don't like it?" I asked.
"It's not like that..." Cas mumbled almost too quiet for me to hear.
"Oh I get it," I winked at Castiel. "You wanted that to be your and Dean's thing. Like baby only less obvious."
Cas' face turned bright red. "I didn't, I don't-"
"You're so obvious, Cassie," I laughed. Castiel's phone buzzed in his pocket. Cas tried to look at it without me noticing, that was impossible for him to do. "It's from Dean right?" I asked eyeing Cas curiously.
"Um... Ya," Castiel's eyes had that glazed over look they got when he was reading intently.
"Alright," I jumped off the armrest in excitedly anticipating the text message I knew was coming. I slowly backed over to the coach on the other side of the room. For a few minutes I watched Cas smile down at his phone. Then my own phone buzzed in my pocket. I looked down to see a unknown name had messaged me:
'Hi, this is Sam. Just making sure this the right number.'
I smiled mischievously down at my phone: 'Um, hi. Sam? You must have the wrong number. I don't know anyone names Sam.'
'Oh, so sorry.' Sam responded to my message right away. My mischievous smile widened.
Moments latter Cas looked up from his phone. "Gabriel, are you messing with Sam? Dean says I gave Sam the wrong number. But I know for a fact that the number I gave him was yours."
"Dunno, Cassie. Maybe you wrote it down wrong," I tried to stop smirking.
"Gabriel you have that look in your eyes. The one you get when you are playing a prank on someone." Castiel sighed unamused.
"Awe, come on little brother," I wined. "please, just play along with me. I promise it will be funny."
Cas sighed and nodded. "Fine, I'm going to bed."
"Don't tell Dean, or Sam for that matter about what I'm up to!" I called as Castiel walked out of the room.
"Wouldn't dream of it," Cas grumbled as I hear him climb the creaking stairs. I smiled down at my phone and put Sam's number in my contacts list. I named his contact Samsquatch, I think the reasonings for my new nickname are clear. perhaps Cassie was right when he said Sweet Thing was a bit cliché.
"Oh, hey Gabe," I turned to seem older brother walking into the living room. "I would have thought you'd be in bed by now."
I surged "Nah, tomorrow's only the second day of school. It's not like anything sleep worthy is happening." Michael laughed but I could see the weariness sinking into his features. "You look exhausted, Mike," I felt slightly guilty about that. Michael is the only one of us with a job, Anna and I should have jobs but we don't. In other words it's my fault Michael has to overwork himself every day. "You should get some sleep."
Michael smiled over at me. "Sure thing, Gabe. Soon as I'm done with my supper." I nodded approvingly as Michael continued into the kitchen.
"I'm going to bed now, Mike-y. See you in the morning." I didn't get a response but I knew Michael had heard me. I marched out of the living room and up the stairs. My phone buzzed: One new message from Samsquatch:
'Gabe, you're a jerk. Cas told me you're pulling a prank on me.' I could hear both an annoyed tone and an amused tone in his words.
'WHAT! HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME!' I responded with a smile.
'Gabe?'
'AHHHHHH!!!!!! WHO ARE YOU?'
'Um... I'm Sam, you know Cas' friend. I'm new at school...'
'Oh, you mean Samsquatch.'
'Don't think I have any reason for hesitation when I'm murdering you.'
'I always knew someone was going to murder me. At least now I know he's cute. ;*'
This time it took Sam longer to respond, I had a momentary second of worry right before; 'I always knew I was going to fall in love with someone. At least now I know he's cute. <3'
