Glowing eyes

Tyler POV
(This was set in the August btw)

We were at Taco Bell.
My favorite place to eat, he didn't even know that yet though.
We were sitting across from each other.
I had money, I assured him.
He didn't listen and insisted on paying.
This boy is going to be the death of me.
His eyes were so pretty, it's kind of like they.. glowed. A pretty brown color. Josh is the most adorable boy I've ever met.

Jeez I'm already skipping on the first week of school.
Everything right now is awkward, he's not talking, I'm not talking. We're both eating and he just keeps looking at me.
I don't like it.
All kinds of thoughts keep running through my head.
He finally says something.
"So, what do you wanna- um do after this?" He says
"Hmm I don't know."
"Hey wait how much money do you have?"
"Like 50 bucks."
"Oh my god! We should totally go to the zoo!"
This boy is so cute
"Oh, okay. How much do you have?"
"100"
This boy has looks and has money by the looks of it , how fun?
"Let's go!!"
He dragged me to his car and handed me my soda as I got in.
He started the car and we were off to the zoo.
He's like a child and it's the cutest thing.
"So what's your last name, josh?"
"Dun. What about yours?"
"Joseph."
"I like it" He said while smiling

-time skip-

We're finally here
The whole way here josh and I just learned stuff about each other, it was fun.
We got in the zoo and josh dragged me to the zebras.
"Aw!! Look at them!! Come on Tyler!!"
"Okay, okay" I say as I chuckle.
I noticed I keep getting weird looks.
Maybe it's because of my eye contacts.
Maybe it's my clothes.
Either way I don't care.

Time skip again 😌

We spent the WHOLE day at the zoo, it was amazing.
He was amazing. I kept making funny noises and pretending it was the animals and he couldn't stop laughing.
His laugh was adorable.
It was nearing 8 pm now.
I told him to take me home even though he didn't want me to.
"I have to josh, my mom is going to be mad."
"But Tyler please stay with me, I'm lonely."
He said giggling at the end.
"Josh take me home, I already told you."
I said jokingly.
"Alright."
He finally took me home.
But all the lights were out in my house.
"Hey josh I'll see you tomorrow."
"Okay Tyler bye."
"Bye josh"

I walked to my door and opened it slowly.
I got in and shut the door.
I flicked on the lights.

"Joseph" came from my mother who was sitting in the dark on the couch.
"I know I'm sorry mom I should've told you."
"You're grounded you know?"
"Yeah I know mom."
"Where were you? It's not like you have friends to hang out with."
"Actually I have a new friend. His name is josh."
I started walking up the stairs to my bedroom.
"Night mom."
She didn't reply.
