We're driving swiftly past the motorway, and the windshield's flapping at the back is becoming more and more unbearable. I cast a glance at Agent X. Her eyes are fluttering threatening to close completely. How long has it been since she last slept? We've been together for two days and she hasn't shut an eye, but what about before that? When we met at the concert, she had the same clothes on she'd already been wearing when we first saw each other: would that mean she hadn't slept in four days? I can't help but be impressed by this woman.

I'm still holding her hand. Because it bothers her, first of all, but also because I enjoy the warm and reassuring presence of her hand inside mine. I told Suho hyung that I wasn't scared, but I am. At the same time, who can blame me? In less than four days, I've already escaped death... three times, four? I can't remember, I'm starting to lose count.

I watch Agent X again. We really need to stop, we're going to have an accident. I don't know her yet, but I can tell she's at her last straw. I know how it feels like – to be at your last straw – I was a trainee, and now I'm an idol. But I also know that if she passes out, it won't have the same consequences as it would for me. Yet, I have faith. I noticed I did, earlier on, when she smiled at me. I have my full trust in Agent X. I tease, and mess around with her, but I believe in her, blindly.

Why do I mess around with her? Because I like it. It makes me smile that a comment or a well-aimed provocation can scare her far more than the barrel of a gun pointed at her. I like it when her eyes widen when I ask her questions she's not expecting, I like to see her shocked by them, incapable of speech, cheeks flushed. This woman can hold criminals at stake, stand up to Lee Soo Man, the Big Boss, knock out men with a kick, and run from parking lots under attack... She can do all of this, but stiffens at touch, as if she didn't know what to do, like she's not used to it. In a similar way, she seems to have impeccable stress and fatigue management skills, but jokes just send her in a frenzy. It's like she's never had a "normal" relationship. Alright, alright, I'll admit it, our relationship isn't normal, but you know what I mean...

But I also have to add that if I'm doing that, it's also because she rouses my curiosity: I would like to know her better, discover what hides behind the mask and gun. But don't you go believing this is anything more than just pure curiosity! But it's true she's beautiful, really beautiful - especially when she's mad. Even when she tries to hide it, there's that little wild, dangerous spark in her eyes. It looks risky, very risky, but too tempting for me to resist. Is that why I like to provoke her? Maybe.

She seems really sleepy. I relax my grip around her hand and she doesn't take it back. Okay, this is not good. We really need to stop.

"Agent X? We need to stop, you're completely out of it. It's getting dangerous."

She shakes her head, as if suddenly awake, and looks at me, taken aback. Her eyes shift to her hand, and she takes it back quickly, like she's just been burnt. I can't help but find that clumsy and somewhat cute. I don't resist temptation:

"I can keep it if you want."

Immediately, her eyes flee mine. Her cheeks blush bright red, and I rejoice.

"No, thank you, I didn't do it for myself."

Ouch. Touché. I confess that without her hand to calm my nerves down, I would have probably taken much longer to gather my spirits. Not that I'll ever tell her that, of course. Desiring revenge, I try to take her hand again:

"And I still need it, actually!" I say with a grin.

"Hands off!"

She edges away from me, fuming, and the little spark makes yet another appearance, to my greatest delight. I laugh, whilst she mutters something in undertone about her gun. I think I'll stop there. I speak again, more seriously this time:
