Crossroads

The police took me to a black car where another cop was inside waiting for me. They put me in and closed the door and the man pulled off. "Tericka I'm Detective Marshall and i am the law and you will help me find Jadore brown." Detective Marshall said. "I don't know where he's at i swear" I said with tears flowing down my eyes. "Please sir I didn't do anything. I don't belong in jail. I'm too fragile they'll break me!" I said pleading with cop Marshall. "Suck it up Tericka! You're won't be going to jail ONLY if your willing to help the police find this man. He's armed and very dangerous.  Now when we get to the jailhouse, the people are going to interrogate you.. and you are going to tell them everything you know. "No what the fuck I'm not a snitch" I said in my angry voice. "Okay well that's fine too. You'll just do what all his other women did and serve his time and with all of that cocaine as evidence and with you being in the house when the police bursed in..oooohhh your looking at atleast 40 years. I was beyond scared not being able to see anyone of my friends anymore,  my mom, even worse not being able to have my own baby but I also wasn't a rat and I refused to snitch no matter what.

We pulled up to the jailhouse 30 minutes later creeping slowly as the garage started to open to let us through then we pulled up into a parking spot. Detective Marshall got out and opened my door to let me out then he uncuffed me. "Walk with me Tericka" Detective Marshall said as we stayed entering doors. "Now look I know you have some feelings for this man but sweetie you are not safe with him. Do you think your the first person he set up like this?" Set up? Jadore didn't set me up" I say standing in one place with my hand on my hip. "Oh yeah? Okay." Detective Marshall said. We entered the interrogation room and the lady asked me to have a seat.

"Hello Tericka.  My name is Eve Thomas. I am an investigating your case with Jadore Brown. Our little Jadore has been on the run for quite some time and I think it's about time we've seen our baby again.

Me:Jadore is a good person really. What do you guys want with my man?

Eve: Your man? Aha no sweetie, Jadore is every bitches man. Haven't you heard from Twinkie yet? That's Jadore's ex wife. Ever heard of Haley?  That's Jadore's wife and babies mother. Maybe you've met Ericka? Jadore's secret mistress?  The girl who killed 4 females ask in one night due to them failing to sleep with Jadore's crew. You're next.  He's actually already ordered the hit on you. 

Me: me?  No I'm his woman he wouldn't set me up on his best day.  You sure honey? You see, we have unique technology now a days which helps us identify who made the 911 call just by recording your voice as you state your emergency.   Isn't this his voice on the tape we have of him calling the cops on you?

*dispatch: 911 what's your emergency? 

Jadore: Ummm yes I have some information about a trap house you guys have been wanting to raid for a very long time with someone y'all have been wanting to catch for quite some time also.

Dispatch: Who sir?

Jadore: Jadore Brown.

Dispatch: address?

Jadore: Waterfront apartments, apt 1046. He's in there right now as a matter of fact.

Dispatch: Do you know him sir?

Jadore. ....... *click*

I couldn't believe Jadore sold me out like that. I did nothing but love him. I even gave him apart of me that I can never get back and all for what? This bullshit! I wanted to tell them everything I knew about Jadore and everything he told me but after listening to that tape,  i stated to wonder if it was all true or a big lie.

"Are you ready to talk Tericka?  Detective Marshall asked as i sat at the table trying not to cry. "I can't. I won't" I said as i crossed my arms you see Tericka what your failing to realize is we don't want to capture Jadore.  We want Jadore dead and since you can get close to him, we want you to do it. "Kill him? I can barely catch a nut without crying now you telling me to take someone's life!? Hell no that's one thing I can't do. I said shaking my head. "Tericka,  how far are you willing to go to save someone you love? Eve asked. Far enough. I don't play about my loved ones I said responding ruthlessly.  "Okay boys take her to her cell. She's clearly not up for seeing day light again. Enjoy 40+ years behind bars Detective Marshall said waving his hand to the gaurds as they came and grabbed me and took me away.
