The bright side of cheats

I woke up the next day a little tired but it was are last day in New York and Luke wanted to do something special.

"You look tired." Luke said while we were all eating.

"Rough night." I said.

"We can just stay here and relax if you want." Luke said.

"No it's okay." I said.

"So what are we doing?" Hope asked

"Well Luke and I were thinking about going to the pool." Ashton said.

"But if your too tired we can take a rain check." Luke said.

"I'll be fine Luke." I said. After we all finished eating we got changed into our bathing suits and went to the pool. Once we got there we turned into little kids splashing around and giggling since no one was there. We were all having fun until I heard my phone ring.

"I'll be right back." I said.

"Hello." I said.

"Hello is this Meela Whitemore?" Th voice asked.

"Yes." I said.

"Hi I'm Lydia I'm your birth mom." She said.

"How did you get my number?" I asked.

"Your mom gave it to me." She said.

"So um how are you Lydia?" I asked.

"Good. You?" She asked.

"Good. So I'm why did you call?" I asked.

"Well I wanted to arrange a time to meet you." She said.

"Oh okay." I said.

"I was thinking of taking you to a restaurant." She said.

"Yeah sure." I said.

"Alright once you know where your staying let me know I'll come and get you." She said.

"Okay bye." I said.

"Bye." She said and I hung up.

"Who was that?" Luke asked.

"Oh just a friend from Canada." I said.

"Okay." He said.

"C'mon let's go back in the pool." I said grabbing Luke's hand. To be honest I was nervous about meeting Lydia she seemed nice but I was nervous.
