The Pharaoh and His Slave

Chapter 12

Yugi's POV

I walk around the palace in a bit of a daze. After that nightmare, I wasn't able to sleep at all. I stumble into the library and sit below a statue. Atem I'd give everything to tell you, but he's threatened Grandpa, Joey, and even you. I probably sat there for 10 minutes before I heard the door open. I look up and my heart sinks. Brad. "How is my pretty little boy? Are we keeping our little secret," he asks. I look away from him and say nothing. I hear him scoff and walk up to me. He grabs my face and grips my jaw hard and forces me to look at him. "Answer me when I talk to you slave," he spits in face.

"I-I haven't said anything," I mutter. He lets go. "There now that wasn't so hard. See if you do what I say then I won't have to do anything like that," he says and I look down. "I see. Well I actually didn't come to do this to you, but you leave me no choice," he says and throws me to the floor. I ignore the pain and grunt as I hit the floor. He rolls me so I'm facing up and he straddles my hips. He smirks down at me before pulling out a knife he had hidden in his clothes. "Also little birdy whispered in my ear that our Pharaoh still thinks your his," he says and chuckles.

"How wrong is he? After today he will know you don't belong to him anymore," he says and he presses the knife against my throat. He doesn't press down hard enough to break the skin though. "Now be a good little pet and don't scream," he says and takes the knife and tears through my pants and cuts into the baby fat of my thighs. I can't help the scream that tears out of my throat. With each cut he makes, I scream. "Now didn't I tell you to not scream," he says and makes cuts on my hips. "Aww my pet. Does that hurt," he asks. I begin to go numb as the pain is overwhelming. With one last cut up my other hip, he gets up then spits on the ground next to me and leaves.

I don't know how long I stayed there. I groan as I try to get up. My cuts are burning as I get up. I grab a cloak and put it on so it covers up the blood and I limp to our chambers. I collapse when I get into the room. I crawl over to the bed and am just about there when the door open. "Yugi are you in here. I've been looking every... oh my gods Yugi what are you doing? What happened," asks Joey as he runs over to me. "N-nothing," I say and he helps me onto the bed. "Yugi that blood isn't nothing," he says pointing at the bloody cloak that fell off at the edge of the bed. I go to say something when the door opens again.

"Oh thank goodness you found him," says Atem he comes down to the bed and sees the cloak. "Yugi why is that cloak soaked in blood," he asks. I finally break and a sob bursts from my throat and tears run down my face. I look down at my legs and hips and his eyes go wide and he carefully examines the cuts. "Yugi. Who did this? Please you have to now," he says his voice shaking a little. "B-B-Brad," I say. He exhales a shaky breath. "Yugi was he the one who raped you," he asks. "Y-yes," I whisper. Did he cut you anywhere else," he asks and I shake my head no.

"He threatened Grandpa, Joey, and even you. I was scared that he'd do something because I knew he had the ability to do it. I-I'm so sorry," I say and continue to say sorry. He sat there with a blank stare on his face for a little bit then he eyes changed to pure rage. He shot up off the bed and threw open the door and stormed down the hall. "Stay with Yugi," he says to Joey as he rushes out. "He hates me now," I say sobbing. "No no Yug. He's going to take care of all of this. He's gonna give Brad what he truly deserves," says Joey.

Atem's POV

Red filled my vision. Seeing those cuts were like a slap in the face and a stab in the heart. He hurt him. He hurt my Yugi. He won't be alive much longer after that display. I round the hallway to his chambers and pound down his door. "Brad," I yell. He opens the door and I grab him by the throat and throw him against the wall. "My Pharaoh," he whispers as he struggles to breathe under my grip. "You piece of shit. How dare you touch him in that fashion! How dare you mark him," I yell in his face. A look of recognition comes to his eyes before turning to rage and then back to innocence.

Too late Brad. I've seen everything you've done. "I don't know what you're talking about," he says. "Oh don't you dare try the Brad. You cut and raped him. You're a low life waste of air and you deserve to rot in the deepest pits of the underworld," I say and punch him across the face. Guards must have heard the commotion because they chose then to come running down the hall. "You will pay for your crimes against Egypt, me, and most importantly Yugi. You marked his body and damaged that poor boys soul. For that you will be going to trial. Amasis take him away. Make sure the big boys have some play time with their new toy," I say.

He nods and two guards grab him and he takes him away to the dungeons. I slid down against the wall with my heads in my hands. "My Pharaoh it was him wasn't it," says Seto who kneels beside me. "I was so stupid. He told me a while ago that Brad was looking at him. I should have known Brad was gonna act," I say. "Yes, but you had no idea how far he was gonna go. Now stop sitting here with your head in your hands and go to him. He needs you now more than ever to reassure him that everything will be ok," he says. I nod and Seto helps me up. I go back to my chambers where he Joey were.

I come in and stumble down to the bed and Yugi looks up from Joey and pulls away and reaches for me. I crawl onto the bed and grab Yugi and hold him tightly to me. "Yugi I'm so sorry I didn't see this coming," I say. "No you couldn't have known that. It's not your fault," he says. "Yugi you have to promise me. Promise me that if anything like this ever happens again, you'll come to me or Joey," I say and he nods. "Also you're going to start eating. You look like you've lost a little bit of weight and you haven't been eating well understandably so," I say. "Yes I will," he says. "Joey go get Isis. We need to get those cuts looked at," I say. Now that I've figured out who it is. Everything should go back to normal.
