they were all cute, but min kyungjin did not want to be there. she had to close shop and go to freaking school (it wasn't half bad here actually). she was just bored and annoyed and wanted to go home and sleep. could you blame her? she was surrounded by weird/attractive men just staring at her while going about what looked like their daily lifestyle. the kid was again on his phone, looking up sometimes just to make awkward eye contact with her.

jimin was busy sharpening their knives, and taehyung just sat across from her staring fiercely into kyungjin's soul. she was so calm, having been in worse situations before, that she even surprised herself.

mottos always say dumb things like, 'if you do things that scare you you wont be scared anymore'. then why hadn't her anxiety gone? she was used to bad situations like these, that didn't mean she wasn't scared of them. she was just neutral to everything, as it may seem. she didn't want to be hurt, but she also wouldn't care if it happened. it was weird to others, but only sora seemed to understand her, including a few others, otherwise she wasn't really appreciated, other than her looks, which most people only flocked around her for.

she was a mixed child, no doubt. her mother, indian, her dad, indonesian-korean. it was easy for her to stand out, whether or not she wanted to, due to her looks and her height.

she longed for that thrill others talked about, being her calm, neutral self, but she never really got it, and she didn't want it this way. she just wanted to be calm and happy at her little coffee shop, was that too much to ask for? she gave it a shot.

"hey jimin?"

"mhm?"

"can i go home now?"

"nope. sorry babe, you're stuck with us."

she groaned loudly and jungkook looked up and rolled his eyes. kyungjin turned to taehyung. tae was staring at jimin, and jimin stared back, an unreadable expression on tae's face and a challenging gaze on jimin's. it was like they were talking without actually conversing with one another.

kyungjin just sat there, tired, awkward, and mad.

"what's the time."

"5:48...pm."

"ugh. i've been here for 8 hours?" kyungjin replied.

"yup."

"anyway, your name's jeongguk right?"

"yup."

"and you like video games."

"yup."

"can we play a game?"

"yup."

"do you say anything other than yup?"

"yup."

kyungjin felt like crying right then and there. she was frustrated and right now, on a normal day, she would be at her and her roommates', cozy apartment. jinyoung, jaebum, and her, peacefully watching cute kdramas. she was tired, even if she sat the whole time.

"you wanted to play a game right?"

kyungjin recognized the voice as taehyung's and realized she had to show them no other side of her, except the neutral, otherwise she would be in trouble, in more ways than one. you never know what they could do. she sat on the ground, the least bit shakily, but she could feel taehyung's eyes on her, and she knew he noticed.
