it's been a while since i've put anything out on wattpad, but idk i felt like I wanted to start writing again.
it'd be good practice too, especially since i'm starting high school off with honors english.
______________7 months later:
min kyungjin was rushing. again. for the fourth time this week.
and for what reason? her mom thought it'd teach her responsibility to send her a cat to take care of. don't get her wrong, she loved the cat, but she didn't have any time to play with it.
she was balancing feeding herself, feeding & playing with the cat, her varied shifts(which grew, ever since the coffee shop became more popular), and her second semester of school.
the group of boys she had met long ago were never really on her mind much recently, although she thought about them often after she left their home that time ago. now, she was too busy with life to think about them and she was too busy looking for an internship for what she wanted to be, an international translator.
but of course it was hard, her luck was just rotten. she always put in her 101% like her dad told her, but lately there was just too much on her plate, and her happiness just fell back and wasn't one of her priorities anymore.
she rushed out the house after the typical 'cat-scratching-her- couch' scenario, and hopped onto the bus, which luckily was right at the stop when she arrived.
"at least something's finally right," kyungjin groaned under her breath. right now, min kyungjin just wanted to be anywhere other than here.
...
"namjoon, we have an emergency, we know bangtan's whereabouts, so i suggest you come here now, if you don't want us coming to japan for a little talk. you know what i mean, so listen, you need to come back to korea, and look, i know you guys are getting chased by nct, but I have the materials and the housing you may need to stay in korea for as long as you want," his voice softened. " i know you guys want to come back home, so please do, this time i promise it'll be safe. call back if you have an answer, thank you, this is bang pd signing out. "
they all stood around the phone, all their faces displaying different emotions. the one thing they all had in common was the hint of joy underlying their features.
"tae! wanna start packing?" jimin yelled and broke the tense silence with an excited giggle.
taehyung's face was already stretched in a grin so far and wide that you could fit a whole pie in it.
"race ya!" and they took off, leaving the rest of the group in their own thoughts.
jungkook glanced sideways at yoongi, seeing if he could pick up on his feelings from reading his face. jungkook wasn't very good at reading faces though, and yoongi had always been good at hiding his emotions. he sighed and hoped they could somehow rebuild their relationship from the past, because ever since they moved to japan, yoongi had been distant.
jungkook thought maybe yoongi had figured out his feelings, and jungkook was too scared of rejection to talk to yoongi about how he felt, so he made sure to never be left alone with yoongi in the same space.
now yoongi on the other hand, didn't even know jungkook was gay. only taehyung knew about jungkook's sexuality. jungkook would always come home with girls and looked like he was having the time of his life. it hurt. it really hurt. it hurt yoongi so bad that he decided that he couldn't be around jungkook if he didn't want his feelings to grow anymore.
ha, as if they aren't at their peak already, yoongi thought to himself.
yoongi knew jungkook knew something was off, but even though yoongi was strong, both emotionally and physically being able to control himself, yoongi was scared of rejection. so he stayed away.
yoongi was pulled out of his thoughts, feeling eyes on him. he didn't know who it was but he didn't look to the left because he knew his face looked more vulnerable than ever and he didn't want anyone to notice.
jin looked around feeling the emotions of his members deep in him, as he knew what they all felt because he knew them the best.
always being the mood maker he is, he tried cheering them up with the mention of going out for dinner, and slowly the tension decreased until it faded.
...
" tae! stopfh itsh," jimin slapped taehyung's hand away from his fried pork dumplings and glared at him while stuffing his face with his chopsticks.
taehyung grinned wickedly and stole one when jimin was looking at yoongi, who seemed to be deep in thought.
" hyung? what's wrong?" jimin stared at yoongi's troubled face with a concerned smile.
as if he woke up from a daze, yoongi's eyes snapped to look at jimin's worried eyes and inwardly cursed that he let himself be that vulnerable.
yoongi put on a tight lipped grin, which jimin was oblivious to, and so jimin was put at ease.
taehyung knew there was something wrong though and since he was at the end of the table right next to yoongi, he held his hand, because he knew yoongi found comfort in that. after all, they were daegu boys and daegu boys have always got each other's backs.
a couple seats down, jungkook watched their interaction and gritted his teeth, his eyes burning with rage and he slammed his chopsticks down, his face in his hands and he didn't realize how loud he was until he felt their eyes on him.
"i- i'm sorry. i have a headache a-and," he tried to swallow the lump in his throat. he tried to put on a convincing grin. "we needa get rest for tomorrow right?" his voice cracked slightly at the end and he inwardly cussed himself out.
everyone knew something was wrong with jungkook, he was the easiest to read, but before anyone could point it out, yoongi got up and grabbed his hand and one of the keys on the table. they couldn't all fit in one car so they took three.
"i'll take him home y'all, see ya," and yoongi pulled jungkook with him as he waved to the group at the table.
there were a chorus of 'see yas" and "bye byes" before they walked out the door.
