Chapter Six: Determination

I woke up at about 3am of terrible night mares it was Blake again haunting me.I got up and found some trousers and tee and put my hair in a messy bun.Its been two weeks and I had been having night mares of what Alana could have done to Blake since I returned.That was it I had to go back for him but I couldn't go alone.Quietly I snuck down the hall to Loki's room and entered quietly,he looked so sexy asleep as his hair was messy a small smile creeped up my face.Gently I nudged him awake"Loki wake up"His eyes opened slowly and he rolled over and turn his bedside lamp on"Princess what on earth are you doing here at this time of night."I need your help"I pleaded.Loki sat up and stretched out his arms"What with?"he asked"I need you to take me to Everdale""Why the hell would you think I would do that"he sounded annoyed probably because I had awaken him at three thirty in the morning"Because,I have to save a friend"I tugged on his arm.Loki got out of bed and pushed me gently onto the wall"Princess I will not take you on a suicide mission"his presence made my heart skip"Yes you will as I am your princess and you will do what I say"my voice struggled to sound stern"But Princess wouldn't you rather stay here with me?"Loki's voice sounded smooth and seductive,even though I wanted to save Blake,Loki seemed to give me the same feeling I had felt before. I had gotten to know Loki quite well over the past two weeks.My eyes locked with his."Take me to Everdale"I said angrily."Well if there's no way to stop you then as you wish but I'm not going"He lowered his arms down from around me and stepped aside.His eyes fell to the floor sadly."Loki"I whispered"you stay here I will go"He replied.

"No you cant"

 "Bella I'm staying in this castle therefore it is my duty to protect the crown and its daughters"

 "You will get yourself killed" 

"That's a chance I'm willing to take"

Loki set off with three other men the next morning,I had explained all the details the night before and made sure the queen did not find out about my little mission.I waited three days before loki finally returned,He had Keyanna and Lucas in tow.Blake was was carried in as he had scars all up his back and had been beaten almost to death.The sight killed me."They let us get away to easy"Loki spoke up as he helped carry Blake to the hospital part of the castle"There up to something"I winced.

Blakes eyes opened slowly a few hours later

"Bella is that you"

"Yes Blake I'm here,everything is ok"

"They shouldn't of come after me"

"I wasn't going to leave you behind Blake,I had to do something so Loki......"

Blake rested his hand on mine,and tried to smile

"Look it doesn't matter your safe and that's all that matters,You need to rest"I said softly as I moved his blanket so it was covering his feet.Blake closed his eyes and went to sleep.

Its been four weeks and the medallions still have had the courage to attack us but any smart person would know that they can attack at any minute and to not stay off guard.Over the past few weeks strange things have been happening.There's a stabbing pain in my back constantly on and off and my head has been feeling rather muddled and i cant think straight.Blake's back healed but the scars still remain a memory that he will never forget.I lay on my bed steering a the ceiling thinking of what i may become when I'm older when Loki came in."Are you alright" he said as he sat quietly beside me.My eyes darted to his."I'm sorry" and my head dropped."For what?"he questioned."Everything".He looked at me with a soft gaze.Loki's hand moved up my leg then he moved forward and kissed me tenderly.The warmth of him felt magical but i wouldn't go any further."Loki please stop"I pushed him away"why whats wrong Bella?""I cant be with you,I'm sorry"a knot grew im my stomach.Loki glanced away."You love him don't you?""Loki" I said under my breath."I have always loved him Loki I'm sorry""Then you should have thought of that before you let me kiss you"he snapped viciously."I'm sorry Princess but there's somewhere i must be.He darted out the door without saying another word.My heart fell heavy.

 Krystal was eating lunch as i wandered into the kitchen."There's my adorable sister"She teased.She looked at me as I opened the fridge door to get some yogurt."Whats up Bella?""Nothing it doesnt matter.I said as I sat down on the couch"Krystal came over a put her arm around me."Where sisters you can tell me anything"She smiled"Ok its Loki I told him to back off""Oh I thought you were totally into him?""Im into Blake and him its just so complicated".I buried my head in my hands to hide the pain."Well who do you want to be with?"I glanced up and looked her in the eyes""Blake"I whispered"Then go after him and im sure there a plenty of other fish in the sea if it doesn't work out,after all you are a strong confidante women Bella and any guy would be dumb no to appreciate you"Krystal wrapped me into a teddy bear hug then got up."Come on lets go and get your prince charming.Krystal and I linked arms as we walked down the long over decorated hallway.My mother has ordered that since it was almost Christmas that the decorations were to go up.Blake was in the gardening reading a magazine about cars and weapons."there he is"Krystal said as she pointed to Blake sitting on the bank by the stream,go get him"She smiled and nudged me forward.Blake turned around as i approached and smiled gently at me as i sat."hey Bells""Hi""What brings you out here on this warm and sunny afternoon?""Actually you"Blake looked startled"Me?""yes you Blake""oh no what have i done?"he laughed."Blake i love you"He shut up instantly."You,you love me?"He whispered."Well funny story Bella,I love you too".I practically threw myself onto him like an animal and kissed him.we rolled around in the grass laughing.That's when the pain hit.I grabbed at my back suddenly and gasped for air.It felt like a knife slicing me in halve right threw the centre of my back."Bella"I heard Blake Yell.
