The girls started walking up to me, and I tried to ignore them, but they were eyeing me like they wanted to talk to me. I tried to ignore them and just keep walking with Archie, but they blocked my way and put their hands on their hips. And then the two girls started talking.

G: "Heyyy Veronica. How does it feel having a criminal father that has ruined and continued to ruin lives?"

"Who are you?" I asked, but then Archie walked in front of me. "Ginger, just leave her alone." Archie says, clearly annoyed.

T: "No can do Archie. We just thought we'd leave Veronica off with a little warning. We wouldn't want that little secret to get out, now would we?"

V: "What are you hyenas talking about?"

They obviously found out something about me; my family. This secret could destroy my family, and my reputation. I gulped hard and death starred the two girls.

G: "Remember? Back in New York in your 'daddy's' study?" she said mocking me and Archie looked down at me questionably. "On July 10th? That could ruin you, Veronica. Don't you dare try to crawl you ices claws into Riverdale just to ruin it. Ruin everyone. Our family's, businesses, and legacies. Toodles!"

They walked away and flipped their hair and I gulped hard again. Tears rolled down my face, under my chin, and then down my neck. I looked back up at Archie, forced a smile, and speed walked to bathroom.

I knew exactly what they were talking about. I murdered someone. I, Veronica Cecilia Lodge, killed someone. In my dad's study, for nothing. To protect my criminal parents.

I kept walking, but now I started running faster. My feet started to hurt because of my heels, and that's when I fell, and into the Raven Haired Prince's arms. "Veronica? What's wrong?" he said.

We were near the back of the school where no one ever went, so no one could see our conversation.

V: "Jughead, please, just let me be."

J: "Not until you tell me what's wrong." He replied grabbing my wrists.

V: "Jughead I'm serious!" I said and then started to whisper yell so no one would hear what I would have to say next. "My life is already hard enough with me being your prisoner for god knows what! Not only that, but these two girls know a secret about me that could ruin everything for me! Now please, leave me alone." I said sternly. I left him their dumbfounded. I decided to go to a different bathroom so I wouldn't have to deal with Jughead, but that wasn't until I ran into Archie again.

A: "Finally I found you. I know you don't want to be here for whatever reason, so let's skip and go to Pop's. Are you in?

I smiled big, wiped my tears, and nodded. I really hope Archie is going to be the person who cares about me the most.

We went to our lockers to grab our books and binders for homework tonight for the classes we went to and met up at the front of the school. Archie was the one who helped me the most so far, and I'm so grateful for him. We walked out the door to his car and he opened the car door for me.

We started to drive and I was just scrolling through Instagram

Betty and Jughead were cute. But, Betty isn't the nicest person.... Opposites attract I guess.

Archie and I walked into Pop's and he opened the door for me. He picked his favorite booth, which would soon be mine as well. We ordered food and milkshakes and talked for hours. I eventually looked on my phone and realized the time.

5:15

I had to be at the Whyte Wyrm in 15 minutes. "Shit shit shit!"

A: "Is everything ok?"

V: "Yeah, I just promised my mom I'd be home by 5:30."

A: "Do you want me to drive you home?"

V: "No, no that's ok." I didn't want Archie to know that I live on the SouthSide of Riverdale. I stood up from where I was sitting and he did too. "But, I had a very fun time. Thank you." We were staring into each other's eyes. I don't know why, but I kissed him. But this time it wasn't out of 'I'll kiss you and you let me free' like it was with Jughead. It was a good kiss and enjoyed it. He pulled away and we both smiled, I walked out the door and waved as I made my way to the side of town I regretted moving too.
