Chapter 7 - Listen

"Taehyung? Sweetie?" The woman slightly shook her son's body to wake him up. He didn't move so she shook him again and this time placed a kiss on his hair. She walked over to be in front of him and frowned when she noticed his eyes were red and he had some tear strains in his cheeks.
She stayed there trying to wake him up for some minutes and he finally opened a little bit of his eyes and looked around to see who it was.

"Hey, is everything ok?" She brushed her fingers through his hair as he rubbed his eyes with a pout on his lips. She smiles at his cuteness because since a toddler that he never changes this cute little pout as he rubs his eyes.

"Hi, mom. I'm ok, why do you ask?" Taehyung sat up and offered his mom a smile. She sat next to him and grabbed his hands.

"Why are your eyes red? Have you been crying? What happened?" She asked him with a worried face and at the same time with a serious tone so he had no escape but answering her.

"What? I saw a really sad film and you know how much I cry when I see them." Taehyung quickly answered with a rather high pitch tone on his voice indicating he was lying which his mom caught right away.

"You know you can't lie to me so, please tell me everything. I'm your mom, you can trust me." She said with a kind smile and the other man had no choice but tell her everything.

"It's just...Jin hyung was here and we had a fight. I attacked him because I found out a week ago that he is really close friends with Jungkook and he is his hyung. It hurt me so much seeing him hugging him and talking and smiling like if he didn't do anything wrong to me. Then Jin got me this job interview at JJK enterprises and when I got there I found out that Jungkook was the boss there and to top it all... Jungkook harassed me again..." He looked down fidgeting with his fingers and then she stopped me.

"What?? He harassed you? And again? Tae, tell me what happened." His mom was getting upset because she can't believe that betrayer harassed her son.

"It's nothing at all. He pushed his body into mine and kissed my neck. I didn't let him get far with it..." Taehyung blankly said and his mother grabbed his hands squeezing them.

"Did you tell Jin that?" His mother asked looking at him.

"No, I just said he must be cheating on his fiancée but didn't say further. Jin defended him so much and I don't get why he was like that. He was so harsh with his words, it looked like he hated me. Some anger he had built up inside him all these years and finally let out on me." Taehyung said with a hurt tone on his voice and tears already forming on the corners of his eyes. His mother brushed his hair with a small smile.

"You should have told him what Jungkook did and maybe he would have been on your side. People won't know those things if we don't tell them." His mother comforted him pushing him to lay his head on her lap.

"I know, mom. I was just so hurt and angered at him that I couldn't say it. Maybe because I wanted him to try to prove me wrong when in fact I knew it wasn't like what he said." Taehyung said looking out of the window as his mom brushed his hair with her fingers.

"You need to talk to him and fix this mess between both of you. He is your hyung and best friend so you two shouldn't be mad at each other. And about Jungkook, if he has a fiancée then please stay away from him. Don't let him harass you anymore or else I'm going to his job to give him a piece of mind. Ain't nobody going to hurt my baby anymore." Taehyung chuckled at her words and grabbed her hand kissing her knuckles.

"I said our friendship was over so I will give us some time. I don't think I can face him after he said that I never deserved him and Jungkook. He also said that I made a mistake years ago because I didn't listen. I don't know what he meant but it hurt me so much. So let's give time to time." He sighed letting go of his mother's hand.
