Chapter 20 - Our Date Night

Today is Taehyung and Jungkook's date! Taehyung is really excited even more after Jungkook told him he had a surprise for him. He didn't sleep too much and now he wishes he didn't teach today so he could spend all day with his boyfriend. He was now walking to the cafeteria after having his last class of the morning. Like usual, he grabbed a tray and took some rice, ramen and jajangmyeon. He then grabs a packet of peach juice and walks over to the teacher's table. Hwan-Kun sees him and instantly smiles motioning for him to sit next to him. Taehyung gladly returns the smile and sits next to him.

"Hi, Taehyung. It's been so long since we saw each other but you know, I have been piled up with work and could never eat here at time." Hwan-Kun laughs. He seems nervous.

"Oh Hi, I noticed that. But now we can catch up with everything, right?" Taehyung chuckled and then started eating his ramen. He munched on it, his cheeks puffy.

"Oh you're so cute. How have you been, Tae? What's new?" Taehyung felt a little bit uncomfortable, Hwan-Kun always says these types of things to him.

"Well, I have been really well. My life is going wonders. How about you?" Taehyung smiled at the other which seemed way too much excited.

"I'm happy your life is going well. Mine is too and even more now. Anyway, there's nothing really new but I want to ask you something? I have been wanting to ask you this for some time now." Hwan-Kun scratched his head and looked away, his nerves showing.

"Oh what is it?" Taehyung tilted his head so he could see the other's face clearly. He stayed in silence for some minutes.

"Do...Do you want to go out with me?" He said and looked at Taehyung with a big smile. Oh no!

"Uhh... I really can't. I have a boyfriend, you know." Taehyung felt really bad to reject Hwan-Kun. Even more when the big smile he had on faded away in just seconds. He looked away and cleared his throat. "Oh it's ok, Tae. It was just a question." He chuckled, trying to hide his embarrassment.

"I'm sorry but we can have some drinks if you want." Taehyung doesn't really like to drink alcohol but he just said it so Hwan-Kun didn't feel so sad.

"Yes, I want. How about on saturday?" Taehyung nodded his head and then they discussed all the details.

After some minutes, they went to their own class rooms to teach. Taehyung thought of how Jungkook will react when he knows he is going to drink with another person. He shrugs those thoughts away and starts teaching. After all, today is their date and he is excited to see what his boyfriend prepared for him. He dressed all pretty for his Jungkookie and he hopes he notices his efforts. He didn't dress too formal or too casual because he doesn't know where his boyfriend is taking him to have dinner, so he kept it simple.

Taehyung went to the entrance of the university and Jungkook arrived seconds later. He walked in and quickly hugged his boyfriend and pecked his lips.

"Missed me much?" Jungkook smirked and rubbed Taehyung's thigh.

"A lot!" Taehyung pouted and gave his boyfriend one last kiss before Jungkook drove away.
"Where are we going, kooks?" Taehyung asked with excitement.

"I thought we could go to McDonald's since you don't like when we go to expensive restaurants." Jungkook answered, his eyes on the road but he could see his boyfriend smiling from the corner of his eye.

"I would love that. I have been craving for hamburgers so hard these days." Taehyung pouted and leaned back on his seat.

Jungkook parked the car and then they got out, walking to McDonald's. They entered the restaurant and Jungkook told Taehyung to find them a booth as he ordered their food. For Taehyung it was a big mac menu and for Jungkook it was cbo menu.
Jungkook placed the tray on the table and Tae instantly pecked his lips.
