Positive (Russia x Reader)

You and your husband Ivan have been married for 8 months now. Three months ago, you two decided it was time to have a child of your own. Sadly, that hasn't been working out the way you wanted it to.

Deep in your thoughts, the front door opened to reveal that your Russian husband has come home.

  "Sunflower, I'm home!" he yells.

  "You're late," you scold him

  "By a minute!" He usually comes home at 5:30 but right now, it is 5:31.

"I'm sorry sunflower," He says.

"I'll forgive you this time," You both start to laugh. You stood up and walked over to him.

"I missed you," You hug him. He returns it, but with a bone crushing hug.

"Ivan," You say trying to breathe.

He realizes what he is doing and let's you go, "I'm so sorry, Sunflower! I don't pay attention to my own strength!"

"If we're going to have a baby, you're going to have to be very careful to not do that. We don't want to crush a child do we?"

"Нет (nyet) if. When."

"That's right," You say trying to be positive.

  A few days later, you started to feel very ill. Thinking about it, that son of a bitch named period hasn't come yet. In fact it's about 2 weeks late. You haven't told Ivan yet because you don't want him to worry about it.

Suddenly, you felt the urge to go vomit. You ran as fast as you could to the toilet bowl. Luckily, you made it in time.

The front door opened and closed. Ivan was home. He couldn't see you like this!

"Sunflower I'm home! Sunflower?" You we're usually in the living room waiting for him, yet you weren't there. This worried him.

"(y/n)?" He yells. He hears noises coming from the bathroom, so he walks in that direction.

"(y/n) are you here?"

"Yeah I'm- Holy shi-!" You start vomiting again.

  Ivan opens the door. The scene he says shocks him. He immediately goes by your side and holds your hair back (if your hair is long enough).

  "How long has this been going on?" He asks you.

"A couple of weeks," you reply.

  He frowns, "Why didn't you tell me, (y/n)? I could have helped you when this was first happening if you would have told me and we would already know what's going on by now."

"I didn't want you to worry about me. You already have so much on your plate I didn't want to add anything else."

"Sunflower, you are my first priority. I can help my boss later. I can have more than one boss but I only have one of you. Let's go put you bed, да?" He helps you up.

  "Да," you reply. He leads you to the room and you lay down on the bed. A few moments later, you drift to sleep.

  When you awake two hours later, you smell this amazing aroma coming from the kitchen. You got up and followed the scent.

You ended up seeing your Russian husband making some soup. He turns around and sees you.

"How long were you staring at me?" He smirks.

"I just got here. What are you making? The whole house smells like it and it smells damn good," You compliment.

"I'm making some chicken noodle soup. I was going to bring some soup to you, but since your here why don't you sit here and eat it?" He pulls out a chair at the table for you. You thank him, sit, and wait for the soup to be served to you.

  "Here you go," He gives you a bowl of that delicious aroma, "If it's not good just tell me."

  You took a bite. This soup was heaven. Maybe it was just you that haven't eaten in a long time and you just vomited earlier, so you were very hungry.

  "This is great, Ivan," You smile at him.

When you finished the soup, you were about to get up, then Ivan spoke up.

"Sit back down," He commanded and you obeyed "I would just like to talk to my sunflower!"

"What do you want to talk about, Ivan?" You ask him.

"When was the last time you had your period?" He questions.

"Six weeks ago,?" You reply.

"I'm just wondering. It could connect on what happened today. Can I go buy a test for you to take?"

"Yeah, go ahead."

"You're going to come with me! I'll be waiting for you!" Ivan exits the house. You get shoes on and follow him.

When you arrive in the store you looked to your right and saw the freezer aisle. That means there's ice cream in there.

"Ivan, can I get some ice cream?" Your eyes lit up like a small child's would.

"Of course, (y/n)!" You both walk to the ice cream and decide if getting (flavor) ice cream.

After buying the things you needed, you head home.

"(y/n), do you want to take the test now or later?"

"I guess now," you say trying to find the test from the bag.

You eventually found the test, you walked into Ivan and Your's bathroom.

  You follow the instructions on the box, and you wait 3 minutes.

  Beep Beep

  You let Ivan in knowing that the test had gone off.

"On three we check it." You say to Ivan.

  "Да" Ivan says

  "One."

  "Two."

  "Three."

  You pick up the test and both of you look at it.

  "Positive." You say

  "Oh My God Ivan we are having a Baby!" You tell him with tears falling from your eyes

  "I am so happy Sunflower." He said with some tears in his eyes.

  "I love you, my Sunflower" He said pulling you into a kiss.

  "I love you too" You say when you break from the kiss.

  "And I love you too my Little Sunflower." He said getting in his knees and kissing your flat stomach.

  You couldn't believe that you were gonna have Ivan's Baby.
