i tap my pen on my desk. it's my one year anniversary with danny devito (three years if you count the two i don't remember), and i'm stuck behind my desk working on some stupid powerpoint.

i stare at the flowers on my desk. i read the note over and over: "Happy three year anniversary, babe. I'm so glad i found someone as special as you. Love, Danny" he's so sweet. god, i love him

actually, what am i doing here. today is a special day that i should be spending with the love of my life

i swiftly stand up from my desk chair and tell my assistant samantha to clear my schedule for the night

i grab my briefcase and practically hop out of the door

to my surprise, danny just so happened to be in the parking lot standing in front of his black lambo, with a bouquet of roses in hand

"danny, oh my god, what are you doing here??" i said, perplexed but excited

"well i couldn't just let the love of my life take an uber home on our anniversary" he says

"aww. this is why i love you, snookums" he really is so caring

i hop in the lambo and we drive off

"hey babe it's our song!!" danny exclaims. he turns the radio up

and then all of a sudden, the radio faded into faint beeps before entirely cutting off and i could feel my body upside down, my seatbelt being the only thing stopping me from falling onto the broken glass from the windshield
