"Well done Jimin! That poem was beautiful!" Mr.Yeo exclaims, lightly clapping his hands with a smile on his face.
"Thank you." I say quietly, bowing my head before walking back to my safe and quiet seat beside Taehyung.
"See, I told you they would like it." Taheyung smiles as he rubs my back in attempt to calm me down. I hate public speaking, but I guess my shaky voice kind of went along with my poem.
"Well the teacher liked it, doesn't mean the others liked it." I let out a deep breath. Taehyung let's out a small grunt before loudly scraping his chair back and standing up.
"Yeah sorry for interpreting but I have a question!" Taehyung gets the attention of the class.
"What is it Mr.Kim?" Mr.Yeo sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose, wanting to get along with the rest of the class.
"Who here, show of hands, liked Jimin's poem?" Taehyung asks confidently. I actually want to die under a rock right now. I shrink back in my chair, trying to make myself as invisible as possible. I watch as one hand raises, then another, then two more. Soon the whole class has their hands raised except me. Even Taehyung and the teacher are raising their hands.
"Thank you." Taehyung says like a kid in a higher tone, giving a box smile and sitting back down with a giggle. I look at him like he's crazy.
"What the hell... you just giggled. That's not the Taehyung I know." I widen my eyes.
"Well you have to do what you have to do to get attention." His voice goes an octave deeper as he runs a hand through his hair.
"Jesus." I mumble, hiding my face in my arms on my desk.
"What?" He whispers in my ear. "Am I too attractive for you?" He teases.
"Taehyung stop it." I hiss at him as I feel his hand slide onto my thigh.
"Oh come on, let me have some fun. This class is boring." He whines deeply, keeping his voice a low whisper in order to not get caught. His thumb runs along the top of my thigh as his other four fingers massage the inside.
"Oh my god Taehyung no." I grit through my teeth, pushing his hand off, not wanting to risk anything.
"Okay fine." He chuckles before entwining our hands, resting them on his thigh as he pays attention to Mr.Yeo. I'm going to have a heart attack one day.
The class goes by fairly fast, more people giving samples of the poems, including Taehyung who got the girls squealing and crying. I mean seriously, his poem was fan-fucking-tastic but still... crying? I just want to give him a hug, damn.
Cringey ringg
"What class do you have now Jiminie?" Taehyung asks as we exit class.
"Science with Hoseok." I shrug as we make our way to four corners for our break.
"Didn't you guys have a project due?" He asks as we see the others in sight. I slow my walking down, eyes widening and my jaw dropping.
"Hoseok!!!" I scream, running over to him.
"Woah what?" He asks, the others looking over at me worriedly.
"We have a project due and we didn't even do it!! We're going to get in so much trouble- I'm going to fail Science, and then Minho will hate me and then I'll get sent back to Canada but then again Taemin is there. NO! I need to stay and finish school! But I'm going to di-" I ramble, switching to English, not realizing I'm making the guys laugh.
