Jimin's POV
It's the day after the shooting. After we got home, Minho hugged us all, mostly surprising the others. It didn't surprise me much, but I did enjoy the group hug. We ate supper yesterday and we all watched movies, cuddling up to each other. I stayed with Hoseok and Namjoon the whole time. Can you blame me though? I'm still paranoid. They could've been shot.
But, that was yesterday. It's a new day, the shooter has been arrested, we're all safe. Except for my diet... It's Halloween! The one day a year you're not criticized for taking candy from strangers. Funny how that works really.. you go up, say tick or treat, expecting the treat and then just walk away. I wonder if kids of Dentist's have it hard.
"Jimin, you ready?" Namjoon walks in, fixing his costume. Yes, I made them all wear a costume. Embarrassing or not, this is the only day I can make fun of them. Yet, they all ended up looking kind of.. hot? Damn hormones.
"Yeah, I'm ready." I grab my phone from my charger and follow him downstairs. I look at everyone else in their costumes and smile.
Jin is a devil, Yoongi is Naruto, Hoseok is in a skeleton onsie, Namjoon is a vampire, Taehyung is Joker, Jungkook is a nerd and I am a ghost buster. (Pictures at the bottom)
"Jimin just an FYI, my hair is never moving again. I swear, the hairspray you gave me made my hair have the consistency of a brick." Yoongi grumbles, pointing at his hair that won't move as he shakes his head back and forth.
"Oh good, the hairspray works then." I chuckle, putting my bag over my shoulders as we leave the house.
"Did you not listen to anything I just said?" Yoongi asks in a bewildered tone.
"So Taehyung, I'm bringing my makeup just in case you need to top up today." I grin as Yoongi throws his arms in the air and sulks walking beside Hoseok.
"Oh thank you. I have gym today so I'm going to need it." Taehyung informs me. I nod my head as we continue to walk to school. Walking into the school, I smile as we see so many other students dressed up in cool or scary costumes. I wonder if they'll win the Halloween costume contest we're having at lunch. As we stop in 4 corners, I look over at Jungkook who is staring at a spot on the ground. I walk over and lace my arm around his left one.
"What's wrong?" I stand on my tip-toes and whisper in his ear.
"That's where the shooter was standing when he fired his gun." Jungkook mumbles. "If he didn't have the sword from that class. If it was any other period in the day.." Jungkook trails off. I stand in front of him, blocking where he's looking and cup his face in my hands.
"Hey, don't think like that. We're lucky it was that class. He's alive, that's all that matters." We lock eyes as I reassure him. He nods before I smile and un-cup his face.
"Thanks Chim." He sighs, pulling me in for a hug and kissing the top of my head, making my stomach do a flip. I stutter out a 'welcome' before we join the others.
"What are you guys talking about?" Jungkook asks. Namjoon turns to us looking a little ticked off.
"Jin here believes that demons are better than vampires. But I believe the opposite. Taehyung and Hoseok are taking his side while Yoongi takes mine." Namjoon explains. That also explains why Taehyung and Hoseok are standing behind Jin while Yoongi stands next to Namjoon.
"What do you think Kook? Demons or Vampires?" Jin asks, raising an eyebrow. Jungkook quickly runs over next to Jin with the look that is shot his way. They all quickly look to me and I widen my eyes.
"W-wait I have to choose too?" I ask, not wanting to piss one side off.
"Duh, it'll decide out teams this year." Taehyung chuckles.
