•Shelby's POV•
I woke up and checked the time on my phone and it's 10:45.I see that I have text messages from my ex boyfriend.Not Ross.I had a boyfriend before I moved out here to California and a week before I moved I found out he cheated on me the entire 8 months we were a couple and he lied to me multiple times so I broke up with him.He texted me saying he wanted to talk and I texted back saying "what do you want?? We have nothing to talk about." I put my phone down.I have been wanting to dye my hair for a while so a few days ago I went to the store and bought hair dye.I wanted the topic my hair to be a light pink and the tips would fade to a light purple.After I have been dying my hair for a few minutes Rydel came in and asked if she could help.About 10 minutes later I walked to her room (that's where I'm sleeping since I broke up with Ross) and grabbed my phone and walked back to the bathroom.I had a text from my ex that said "I know you moved and we are far apart...but I wanna get back together with you...I have changed and I promise if we get back together I will never hurt you the way I did" I texted him back saying "I'm sorry but I don't wanna get back together,you cheated on me the entire time we dated and I can't forgive you for that.." I set my phone on the counter and Rydel continued to dye my hair.
•Rydel's POV•
After 45 minutes of putting the pink in Shelby's hair I put the purple on the tips of her hair and I had to put so much dye because she has brown hair and that's really hard to dye.We put a towel around her neck so the dye wouldn't get on her skin and then we walked out to the living room and got something to eat real quick.We just had a pop-tart and milk then we sat on the living room floor and watched tv for a little bit.We had to sit on the floor so Shelby wouldn't get the dye on the couch.Five minutes later Ross walked in and said "what are you doing to Shelby?" and pointe at her head.I said "I'm dying her hair". Shelby turned around and saw Ross standing there with black skinny jeans on and no shirt and she couldn't stop staring and Ross couldn't stop staring at her either.I waved my hand in front of her face to get her to stop staring. "Hey Shelby,when you're done.....can we talk?" Ross asked her.She looked at me then back at Ross and took a deep breath and said ".....sure". Ross smiled then walked in the kitchen.After 30 minutes was up (that's how long we had to have it in) Shelby went to take a shower and put in the conditioner that comes with the hair dye so she don't wash it out and still have brown hair.After 15 minutes she was done and asked me if I could also straighten her hair.After straightening her hair for an hour and a half we were done and she looked so pretty.She had on a pair of dark blue skinny jeans that had some rips,and a black spaghetti-strap shirt.She hugged me and said "oh my gosh! Thanks Rydel I love it so much!!" "You're welcome...love ya girl" "love ya too". I unplugged the straightener and put it up and walked out of the bathroom.
•Ross's POV•
Shelby ran out of the bathroom and ran to the kitchen and said "how does it look!?" Everyone said "it looks great" "its so pretty" and "oh my gosh you look beautiful" but I saw her and couldn't take my eyes off of her.She took out her phone and took a selfie with Rydel and posted it on Facebook with the caption "Delly dyed my hair for me and it turned out awesome..thanx so much.....love ya so much Delly❤️❤️" and tagged her in it. I walked over to Shelby and said "can we talk now?" "sure" "do you mind if we take a walk while we talk" "no I don't mind" "k" I told my parents that we are gonna take a walk.Shelby asked if she could borrow a pair of Rydel's combat boots and Rydel said yeah.She walked to Rydel's room,grabbed a pair of boots and ran back to the living room and quickly put them on.Then she ran back to Rydel's room and switched phone cases.She did have a minion case on her phone but then she switched it to stitch.We walked out the door and started taking a walk. "Shelby...about Laura...I didn't kiss her..she kissed me,she told me the director told her that we have to have a practice kiss so it won't be weird for a scene we have coming up.." She looked up at me and said "...is that true?" "Yes..I would never cheat on you.....I like Laura but ONLY as a friend..nothing more,she keeps trying to break us up so she can have me" "I know..." "And besides you have my heart,not her. I don't have feelings for her..my heart is set on you and only you...you're adorable,cute,funny,smart,you have beautiful blue eyes,your smile...gosh you have the most beautiful smile I've ever seen...I could go on and on about how much I love you." She smiled and blushed and I couldn't help but smile back at her. I looked down and slowly grabbed her hand and stopped walking and walked in front of her and grabbed her other hand and looked into her eyes and said "with that being said....please say you'll be my girlfriend again...please?" She looked at me and took a deep breath and her beautiful smile slowly appeared on her face "...yes..I'll be your girlfriend again" I smiled and let go of her hands and hugged her tightly. After am hour we were done walking and we walked back home.Shelby ran ahead of me and opened the door and said "me and Ross are back together!" My mom said "good! Even though you guys were only apart for a day I couldn't stand to see you guys like that...you two are an adorable couple and you are perfect for each other" I saw Shelby cover her hands with her face and blush and I smiles at her.We walked to my room and sat on my bed and Shelby said "hey babe...do you have a camera I could borrow?" "Yeah" I grabbed out my camera and handed it to her.She opened it and pushed record and say it down on my dresser and looked in the camera and said "the video is for my ex..he's trying to get back together with me but I have a boyfriend.." I walked over to Ross and grabbed his hand and pulled him off his bed and walked back over to the camera and said "..this is my boyfriend...Ross! Isn't he cute!!?" and I kissed his cheek and pushed him back to his bed.Haha I'm so nice. I started singing Really Don't Care by Demi Lovato.When I was done I posted the video on YouTube then shared it to Facebook and tagged my ex in it.He commented in it saying "wow..I wanted you back into my life...I miss you" I commented back and said "I don't"
After that happened I walked over and layed on Ross's bed and cuddled with him and we decided to watch a movie and I decided Night at the Museum since it has Robin Williams and he was one of my favorite actors.After the movie went off it was time for dinner so we walked to the kitchen and got our plates then sat at the kitchen table and ate.After we ate we went back to his room and watched a few more movies.I picked a scary movie on purpose so me and Ross would hold each other closer.I picked Paranormal Activity 4,I'm not scared of it but Ross is and during the whole movie Ross held me really close and tight.The movie went off and we were tired so we decided to go to sleep.I turned the tv off and cuddled with Ross.He layed on his back and layed my head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around me and both of us fell asleep with a smile on our face.
