•Shelby's POV•
After school Ross asked me if I wanted to have go over to his house for a small pool party and I said yes.We got off the bus and walked home.I told Ross that I will be at his house in a few minutes.I walked inside and went to my room and put my backpack down.I walked over to my clothes and find something else to change into.I find a blue Hollister shirt and a pair of white shorts.I quickly change and straighten my hair.I grab my phone and swim suit and walk over to Ross's house.I walk out my door and see Rydel waiting for me.I walk over to her and she grabs my wrist and drags me to the backyard.We get to the back gate and unlock it and walk in the backyard.I walk over and see someone else. "Who's this?" I ask Rydel,she says,"That's Ross's friend Ben." We walk over to Ben and Rydel introduces me,"Ben this is Shelby and Shelby this is Ben." "Hi Ben,nice to meet you" I say. "You too" he responds.
I sit my phone and my swim suit on the chair next to Ben and walk over to the pool and say "Hi Ross." He turns around and smiles at me.I sat on the edge of the pool and put my feet in the water.Ross swam over to me and hopped out and sat next to me and we started talking.
•Ben's POV•
I'm sitting in the backyard with my friends when all of a sudden Rydel opened the gate and had a friend with her.When I saw her I felt a weird feeling in my stomach,this can't be happening she just walked in the backyard.Rydel introduced us and after that.Shelby puts her stuff on the chair next to mine and walked over and started talking to Ross.They talked for a few minutes and they laughed and smiled and the way he looks at her...does Ross like her?
"Ross can I talk to you?" I asked.He got up and we walked over to the side of the house and I started talking.
*conversation*
M:When did you guys meet?
R:Me and Shelby?
M:yeah
R:About 2 days ago why?
M:I...I think I already like her
R:what?! You serious? Dude I like her too
M:We'll have to figure out if she likes one of us.
•Ross's POV•
I'm in the pool and I see Rydel walk in the backyard.I see Shelby walk in and a big smile appears on my face.I turn around and look away cuz I don't want Shelby to notice me staring at her.They walk over and introduce Shelby to Ben and then Shelby walks over to the edge of the pool and sits down with her feet in the water.I swim over to her and jump out sitting next to her.After talking to Shelby for about 5 minutes,Ben said he needed to talk to me.We went over to the side of the house and Ben told me that he likes Shelby.I got a little jealous but I understood because she is really pretty and a total sweetheart.I told Ben that I like her too.We finished talking and I walked back over and talked to Shelby.While I was talking to her I thought of ways I could ask out and if I do,I have a feeling she will say yeah since I'm her celebrity crush...but you never know
