Shancai faced Daoming Feng defiantly. Her chest was heaving from all the running, but she stood straight and met this woman's gaze. "I'll agree to all your conditions," Shancai declared, "Please stop destroying my friends' lives." Daoming Feng looked at her coolly and picked up her phone. "Cancel all of my instructions," she said simply, then put the phone down and looked at Shancai. "What are you going to do for me?" Shancai took a deep breath and said, "I'll leave immediately. I'll cut all ties with Daoming Si from now on."

"No, you won't." Shancai and Daoming Feng turned towards that booming voice and saw Daoming Si standing at the entryway. Daoming Feng's bodyguard was lying motionless on the floor. Daoming Si stalked into the room and stood beside Shancai, facing his mother defiantly. "I've told you before. Shancai is the one I love. If you can't accept that, then you might as well forget you ever had a son," he said seriously. Daoming Feng looked at them both and laughed. "Are you seriously underestimating my power?" she said incredulously, "I have all the resources to find you and make your lives miserable." Daoming Si shook his head at her, "I pity you, Mother. You would rather destroy your own son than to see him happy with the girl he loves." He took Shancai's hand and gripped it tightly. "Goodbye, Mother. I promise you, you will never find us." Together, Daoming Si and Shancai turned around and walked out of the mansion. Lei was leaning against Si's car, and he stood up straight as they approached. "I'll handle her, don't worry," Lei said, tossing the car keys to Si. They thought they glimpsed something shiny inside his coat as he disappeared into the house and shut the door firmly behind him.

Si and Shancai got into the car and sped down the highway. "Take it all in, you won't be seeing this for a while," Si said as he drove and Shancai watched the Shanghai cityscape rush by. They arrived at the airport quickly, where they were met by Ximen and Meizuo. "Xiaoyou packed all your things, and your parents have been relocated to a safe place. My bodyguards will keep an eye on them," Ximen said as he pushed Shancai's luggage into her hands. Meizuo stepped towards Si and handed him an envelope. "Your tickets are in there, together with your new passports," he said, and Si took out the passports and opened them. He smiled, "Looks like I'm Dylan Wang now." He gave Shancai her passport, "And you are Shen Yue." Shancai smiled up at him, "I like that name. Dylan... DiDi!" The way she said his new name made him smile and he teased, "Let's go, YueYue! We don't want to miss our flight." 

They bid their friends goodbye and stepped into the airport. The next few hours went by like a blur and before they knew it, Si and Shancai were sitting inside the plane, waiting for take-off. "Where are we going again?" she asked Si. "Who cares? All that matters is I'm finally with you," Si replied with a smile. The plane began its ascent, so Si and Shancai fastened their seat belts and leaned back. They were finally at peace, and would live happily ever after.
