"Shancai." Daoming Si couldn't believe he finally found her. He had searched for her everywhere and he should be glad he found her. But he wasn't expecting her to be at a bus stop with Lei. "Don't go." He felt a panic rising in his chest as he said the words. "Why should she stay with you?" Lei asked him, and it took all of Si's willpower not to scream at Lei, "This is none of your business! Just leave us be!"

Instead, he focused on Shancai and he said, "Shancai. I can't be without you. I can't live without you." She was looking at him with such sad, defeated eyes that he rushed to continue, "My life has no meaning without you. When I'm awake, you're all I think of. When I close my eyes, you're in my dreams. I can only think of one thing." He looked her in the eye. "I can't live without you."

Suddenly, the bus arrived and stopped in front of them. Lei looked at Shancai and said, "If you're sure about your decision, I support you no matter what." Shancai turned sadly to Si, then stepped on the bus. Si's heart was in his throat, and when he saw Lei take a step towards the bus, he yanked Lei away and hopped on the bus himself. The doors closed behind him and the bus sped away, leaving Lei standing alone on the sidewalk.

Shancai looked at him in shock. "Daoming Si! What are you doing??" she asked. He grabbed her hands and stared into her eyes earnestly. "I told you, I can't live without you. If you won't stay with me, then I'm going with you. Wherever you go, I'll be with you. I told you before that I'd even follow you to Mars. I don't care where we end up, as long as I'm with you," he declared, and she looked up at him with tears in her eyes. "I love you, Daoming Si," she said shakily, and he beamed at her for finally saying the words he so longed to hear. "Be with me?" he asked, and she nodded her head. He pulled her close and hugged her tight, and his heart felt like bursting when her arms wrapped around his waist. "We'll go far away, so far away that no one will be able to find us," he promised, and she nodded again. He kept his arm around her as he set about making arrangements, and finally they got off the bus and walked to the nearest place where they could rent a car.

Si and Shancai got into the car and sped down the highway. "Take it all in, you won't be seeing this for a while," Si said as he drove and Shancai watched the Shanghai cityscape rush by. They arrived at the airport quickly, where they were met by Ximen and Meizuo. "Xiaoyou packed all your things, and your parents have been relocated to a safe place. My bodyguards will keep an eye on them," Ximen said as he pushed Shancai's luggage into her hands. Meizuo stepped towards Si and handed him an envelope. "Your tickets are in there, together with your new passports," he said, and Si took out the passports and opened them. He smiled, "Looks like I'm Dylan Wang now." He gave Shancai her passport, "And you are Shen Yue." Shancai smiled up at him, "I like that name. Dylan... DiDi!" The way she said his new name made him smile and he teased, "Let's go, YueYue! We don't want to miss our flight."

They bid their friends goodbye and stepped into the airport. The next few hours went by like a blur and before they knew it, Si and Shancai were sitting inside the plane, waiting for take-off. "Where are we going again?" she asked Si. "Who cares? All that matters is I'm finally with you," Si replied with a smile. The plane began its ascent, so Si and Shancai fastened their seat belts and leaned back. They were finally at peace, and would live happily ever after.
