Dreams, why do we dream?
Why do you make me hope I'll be alive again?
Dreams, I dream of you,
Why do I want you to be my reality?Fake yet flawless,
Why do I feel like I feel you?
Why do you come and go,
Only when the window is closed?
You visit every night,
Under our closed eyes,
The world that we see,
Stays with us as a reverie. You're the world that we own,
In this world that is unknown,
The life that we have,
Reflects the life that we want,
Dreams, I'm asking you,
Can you not be the reality that I'll own?You make me want never to wake up,
Forever, I want to get lost in my dreams,
Better than the reality we see, staying up,
No longer confused, reality or dream. What's left in this reality?
No sign of any tranquility.
Dreams, you are so beautiful,
You destroy all the negativity.
People we love appear in our dream world,
People we hate turn into something unreal. We control you, dear dreams,
We change the reality of our dreams,
We can't think of life without dreams,
But can we have a life stolen from our dreams? We repeat the moments as we want,
We stop the time when we want,
We twist you, we manipute you,
We replace people the way we want. How I hope the reality was a dream,
We would wake up and laugh at those who were mean,
If you ask me, reality or dream?
I would happily choose to stay forever in my dreams.
