Until it isn't.

Dream was always used to waiting. That's why he sat and waited for George to text him. That's why he's still waiting for George to text him. He's starting to lose hope. He's starting to give in to the outcome that they did not want; Sapnap gave him the wrong number.
He inhales just to let out a shaky breath. He's so upset; he's so disappointed. All of his life, he's never once found love. He is ready to just give up, it seems like the only solution; the perfect solution. A tear starts to slip out of his eye and down his cheek, but he wipes it away and swiftly walks over to his pc. He sits down and turns it on, then pulls up his recording software.
He sighs deeply then opens discord and sends a message to Sapnap, letting him know he's going to record. Sapnap responds immediately asking if he could join to do commentary and if Dream was mad at him. Dream frowns and lets him know he can join and that he isn't mad. Dream wouldn't be mad over a easy mistake like the wrong phone number. Sapnap's going to talk to George at school anyways, so it's fine. Dream just needs a breather; he wants to play his favorite game.
The runs go on for almost an hour until he finally gets to the winning run. He spawns in a desert and begins breaking desert plants for sticks. Sapnap laughs and starts to sing the Sofia the First theme song, causing Dream to laugh and take over singing. Then, Dream sees a huge cactus and comments on it.
He continues his goal to defeat the enderdragon, starting with collecting woof and traveling to a village close by. He gets iron from the golem and collects food, then heads to a ravine he finds. In the ravine he's able to collect all the resources he needs and smelts it all to craft armor and weapons. He's even able to get a diamond sword.
After he climbs out of the ravine, he's ready to head to the nether. Thus, he finds a lava pool and speedbuilds the portal. The nether doesn't take long; he heads in and spends around a minute or two searching for the fortress, then gets the blaze rods. He leaves and waits for night to collect enderpearls. It takes a little while to gather enough; a bit over five minutes. He crafts the endereyes and throws one to see which direction the portal is in. Of course, Sapnap is providing commentary all throughout his run.
He finds the dungeon and heads into the portal room, places the eyes in, and jumps in. He teleports in and builds up to the island the dragon is on, Sapnap making funny noises to tell him he's gotta be fast. He starts shooting the stars with his bow and arrows. His shot are accurate resulting in Sapnap to exclaim, "Okay, Katniss!" He repeats it again.
He shoots the dragon a few times until it comes down, then he blows it up using the bed explosion game design. He caught on fire so he puts himself out with a water bucket. He heals and waits for it to come down again and hits its neck with his diamond sword, then uses a bed for the final blow. The timer is so close and they sit impatient for the portal to spawn. It does and Sapnap and Dream begin to scream in celebration since he's beaten the speed run: 22:06.
Dream ends his recording, then starts discussing it with Sapnap. They talk about the speed run until Sapnap decides to change the subject. "Do you think George knows about you?" Sapnap questions. Dream furrows his eyebrows, "Yeah, you told him." "No, I mean, do you think he knows you're this Dream, the one who plays Minecraft?" Sapnap clarifies. Dream shrugs though Sapnap can't see him.
"We can't really know until we know if he's into like games and stuff. Did he act weird when you told him my name was Dream?" Dream answers. Sapnap sighs, "I don't know. He didn't seem affected. That's cool though, imagine his reaction when you tell him you're famous!" Dream rolls his eyes, "I'm not famous." "Dream" Sapnap deadpans, "Your youtube channel is starting to grow really fast. Literally, I bet in like almost less than a year you'll have 20 million."
"Haha" Dream replies, not believing him. This is his dream, it's kinda hard to believe it. He sighs, "You're right though. I'm gaining them super fast. I can't even believe I'm in the millions. I'm glad people like me." "You make people happy, Dream. George is gonna like you" Sapnap assures. Dream smiles softly, he really hopes he does.
