"Emma, you can't just fucking take the ball from us during a game!" Micheal waved his hands in the air through frustration as Emma stole the football off of him and Ethan.

Micheal was always having his friends come over for some football or to explore the nearby woods.

Emma spat her tongue out as she ran right past them and threw the ball over the driveway fence.

"Try get that and see what Dad does, loser!" She walked off with a giggle.

Emma was always creating mischief.

She got that from her Dad.

Ethan threw up the middle finger at Emma before she got to the door to escape any more trouble from her brother who was currently trying not to set off the gate alarm but Emma just paused with an unimpressed look on her face and then skipped up to Ethan.

"You know if you like me, you can tell me." She was face to face with him at this point and whilst he screwed his eyebrows in confusion, she pulled the lollipop stick out of his mouth and put it into her own.

Ethan's mouth dropped.

"Mama wants to know if you're having dinner tonight, you know? But I think it's quite rude you staying here all the time."

"Why?" Ethan crossed his arms. She swirled the lollipop around her mouth. "Look at your massive house Emma, don't act like one tummy more to fill is a lot."

"Oh I know it's not a lot but it's rude to be here all the time, don't you think?" She pulled the lollipop out of her mouth and waved in the air whilst she spoke. "You have to invite me round your house."

"Oh I do?" She nodded and plopped the candy back in her mouth. "Why should I do that huh?" His hands placed themselves on his hip.

Silence passed for a while as they both watched Micheal struggle get the ball.

"You ever had your balls sucked before?" Ethan's eyes opened bigger than ever before and Emma thought his eyes might of dropped out of his face. "Oh don't give me that look, just answer the question!" He shook his head. "Thought so." Ethan smirked. "I'm not gonna do that to your balls! I have a boyfriend." She smirked whilst playing with her skirt.

Emma always pretended she was a grown up. Acted like she knew grown up words and the meaning behind them when really she did haven't a clue about most things.

Ethan was only two years older but as a boy, you're more aware of those sort of things. It didn't surprise him too much to hear that out of Emma's mouth because she was the most inappropriate 11 year old in the world- even though she didn't have a clue.

He raised his eyebrows but followed it by a fake smile. "Who?" She leans towards Ethan's ear to whisper.

"Kyle, your bestfriend." Ethan's face screwed up. "I won't suck his balls though, I'm only 11!" She had no idea what she was talking about, she's just repeating words from the TV her dad watches. "Does that make you sad that it's Kyle instead of you?"

"Why are you even talking about balls Emma, go away!" She laughed whilst still sucking on Ethan's lollipop. "Go back inside and tell Michelle I'd be grateful for dinner tonight."

Emma nodded and kissed the lollipop before putting it back in Ethan's mouth. She skipped back to the door, Ethan watched as she opened the door. She didn't go inside yet but paused and looked at Ethan. "Kyle isn't my boyfriend, I think he's fat and ugly." And with that, she was no longer in sight.

Summer was finally here. The air smelled of daffodils and freshly cut grass. The Chamberlain's lived in a rural area with only big farm houses in sight although their house was much more elegant, white and tidier than a muddy farm house. It comes with a stable yard and acres of land that Micheal and his friends love to explore.
