Emma laid there completely naked, with the eyes of Ethan above her and the eyes of her Grandfather at the door.

Ethan threw the covers over Emma's body before anything and Pa's face turned green as he quickly looked away and quickly running out.

Emma thought she was gonna pass out.

The absolute embarrassment flew around the room and all of them was rinsed in it. All had something to be embarrassed about.

Which made this next conversation easier.

After that dramatic event- Emma put her clothes back on, Ethan thought it might of been best to go to talk to Pa- out of respect and so he did. Pa was sitting on the couch.

Ethan sat next to him. "I'm so sorry Sir it's just-"

"It's okay boy."

Ethan swallowed.

"It is?"

Pa nodded. Ethan's confusion grew and grew.

"It's been 5 years seen I've seen you Ethan and I remember noticing that you liked my little girl. Together again, like magnets as always." Pa smiled.

Emma's grandparents used to visit frequently but ever since things went downhill with Martin, they thought it was best to stay out of it- till now.

Ethan and Pa used to talk about football and they really got close and sitting with eachother now, it felt no different.

He continued. "Let's just ignore what's just occurred, what matters is Emma living the life of an 98 year old against her will... Michelle is not gonna leave and she definitely won't let Emma. In fact she was going to put a lock on her door to stop her from coming out at all."

Disgust rinsed itself around Ethan's mouth. The thought driving him to anger.

"But that's so wrong! She's struggling enough Pa." Ethan stood.

"I know son but she doesn't have to." He said softly.

"What do you mean?" Ethan screwed his eyebrows and sat down again.

"Leave. The both of you." Ethan's eyes opened wide. "Michelle and Mary are coming back in about half an hour, I left early as they are annoying with all their girl chit chat." He laughed- Ethan tried to but couldn't fully as his thoughts were frying his brain. "Point is- Michelle and Mary both suffer from Schizophrenia and Michelle has gotten extremely worst these past years. It's best I'm here to look after them. I'll cover this story but leave as soon as you can."

"Leave to where?"

"Anywhere. You both deserve it. Just make sure she's safe." I nodded.

"Of course."

"I trust you my boy. You've looked after her better than her father did. Please continue to do that." Pa smiled.

"I will. I promise." Ethan rested his hand on Pa's shoulder.

"Oh I forgot-" Pa stood up and shuffled his way over to one of the cabinets. He searched his way around until he became in touch with a big brown thick envelope.

"What's that?"

Pa didn't reply but handed it to Ethan. "Don't look at it until you get to where you're going but just go tell Emma that I told you she has to listen. She'll understand. I'm going to distract them but please when you get to where you both want to let Emma know that she's the best thing that has happened to me and I love her. Always will."

With one last smile from Pa- he left.

It was easier that way and he knew that Emma would understand due to there conversations when people weren't around.
