Couple days after Ethan kissed my cheek I decided to tell Olivia. We were sitting under the sprinkler, reading magazines and books which was a stupid idea because they got a little wet. We were in our swimming costumes due to the hot weather and it was bliss.

I could smell Moms baking from outside in the front garden. She made the best brownies. I hope she makes them for my upcoming party. I'm turning 12 and I'm actually quite excited.

"Why do all the boys want you Em?" I shrugged to Olivia's comment. I don't know why they do- I could only think of one reason and it's because I'm a living, breathing Bratz doll. "Ethan's pretty so if you don't want him I'll gladly take him away from you"

A smirk appeared upon her pretty face whilst I did wonder if Ethan did actually like me. Surely he doesn't because he seems like a brother to me.

Brothers do not date their own sisters... I'm sure that only happens in Alabama. Well that's what it says on Family Guy.

Ethan is pretty but he also is my brothers best friend. It's just strange. I might kiss him just for the sake of it and see what happens, I want my first kiss over and done with anyway.

I feel like I should of had my first kiss by now, Olivia had hers with Omar in play school. He was really handsome even though he was 4. He had dark skin, big brown eyes and loved animals too. I wonder where Omar is now.

"Remember Omar?" I randomly blurted out. "I'm just kidding, he definitely misses you- where ever he is in the world." Her face brighten up a little and she moved onto her back so that he body was face to face with the sun. "Maybe he is looking for you."

"Oh I hope, he's so beautiful and honestly I feel like white people just aren't as pretty." I nodded. "Anyway, Eth-"

"Hey shitheads,"

Speaking of the devil.

He stood over us both blocking the sun, making me point my head up to see him and Liv to punch his leg so he can not block the sun. "What was that for?"

"You're in the way, fat head!" Ethan chuckled and Olivia just flipped him off.

Bad ass.

He moved over and sat next to me. He tugged on my ponytail and in return he got a slap on the leg. "Ouch! You pig" Olivia was crying with laughter whilst Ethan just teased me more by repeating what I said but in a douchy way.

"You coming down to the woods today? Or are you too scared Emmo?" I laughed in his face and sat up.

How could I be scared of the woods my Dad owns and which I've grown up in? I couldn't be if I wanted to. I know he was teasing me but is he dumb?

"When are guys going down there?" I was gonna show him who should be scared.

"Now." He grabbed my hand and pulled me up.

We spent all day and evening in the woods. We all swam in the lake too. I asked Grayson to come along but he was busy apparently. I think he likes some stupid girl.
