Logan

I have never really paid any attention to my Direction. It was just a thing that was there. I only pay attention when I'm in public places, because despite outward appearances, I love romance. I just don't think anyone will see that in me, and if they do, they probably won't care.

I was taking a stroll through the local park, when I passed a certain person, and my Direction change rapidly. I freeze. I turn around slowly to look at the person, a very attractive looking man, and see that he has stopped too. I tap him on the shoulder.

"Hello?" I say.

"H-hi," he stutters.

"My name is Logan. What's yours?"

"Virgil."

"Well, Virgil, do you mind if I try something?"

"Go ahead?"

I walk around him for a bit. My Direction is always towards him.

"Well." I say.

"I'm not complaining about who I got!" Virgil says, causing me to blush.

"Nor am I."

"So, would you like to grab lunch, or something?"

"That sounds like an excellent suggestion,"

Time skip to after the date

Virgil

To find out that your soulmate is an intellectual badass, hottie and all round perfect person, is amazing. How a person like me, an anxious, emo nightmare, got someone like him as a soulmate is incredible.

"What are you thinking?" Logan asks.

"I'm wondering how I got a soulmate as good as you," I answer, which causes Logan to blush furiously.

I reach over and grab his hand. Pulling him down onto the couch next to me and covering us with blankets is really nice. I lean my head on his shoulder.

They stayed like that for a while, and if they fell asleep, who's to say they weren't comfortable.
