The beast that dwells behind your eye,
I can see it as it tries to make you resign,
But I will not let it take what's mine,
For lost I am but I am not just passing by.I know my place,
Tho it's foresaken,
I see my space,
Tho it is taken. And I'll do what must be done,
I'll give the beast some more fun.
I'll let it sink it's teeth deep in my skin,
Just to see the fish show it's fin.Either way I'll tell the beast,
that I'm not lost,
I'm wandering.
I'm just here,
I just am,
But I am it's greatest threat. Now to tell it that I'm here,
to take back what once was mine,
as I feel my eyes gaze into thine.Upon the entrance of my home,
Upon my dome,
Upon the ruins of ancient Rome,
Upon the mirror of my soul,
Upon the taste so foul,
Upon the last toll on the ancient scroll,
Upon the fog on greatest maze,
There you stand all in daze
Making me realize.I'm here to tell you a secret,
My greteast strength..
My biggest weakness..
So listen well my old friend,
And stay close for this will end,
I'm right here where I belong, I'm no longer lost,
For I have found,
A place to call home within your own dome,
In your failed attempt to lose my sight I gained the power of the flight.
I know see the face so dear, a heart so familiar mine might tear.
I collect the strength in my bones and bring my lips to his ears as small whispers escape through the tears.
"I'm where I belong,
I'm no longer lost,
keep me as yours for I will not leave,
I love you with all my heart,
so will you let me be besides you,
Even when things fall apart,
We can now start anew."
