We had been walking for a bit now. Maybe about 15 minutes. We walked up streets and turned corners. I didn't quite understand why we were walking to the private place. But when I asked they all explained to me that it was just up ahead so it was easier. Especially with traffic.

We finally walked around the 20th corner from what it felt like. Then Luke turned around to say,

"This is it! You guys ready?!"

They all yelled with excitement. I just gave a slight smile. I was actually really nervous because I had never been to a private party before. What even is a private party? What goes down in them?

We all walked in and I straightened my hair up and looked down at myself to make sure I looked presentable. Calum nudged me and I looked over to see him smiling at me,

"You look fine. Don't worry. These things get kind of crowded because of who hosts these parties."

I gave him a sure-whatever-you-say look and laughed. He laughed right back at me and we all went up a set of stairs to a door. I had just got to the stairs and Calum moved out of the way and held his hand out, "Ladies first."

I looked at him very serious, "Okay then go on ahead."

He looked hurt. "Ouch. Every second I learn something new about you that shocks me."

I walked up the stairs before him, "Is that a good or bad thing?"

We made our way to the top and I looked back at him still walked forward and he smiled saying, "No. It's a good thing."

I turned back around to walk into the door. When I walked in, I was kind of surprised. There was a very fancy bar to the right, facing us. It had yellow lights all around it. In front of us was a spiral staircase. To the left was a dance floor full of people dancing. It was more fancy though. There was many deep blue lights above the dance floor giving a nice glow. I stood there trying to take it all in at once. Calum walked up to the right of me, "So?"

I just stood there with bulged eyes, "This is amazing!" I then started to jump up and down in excitement, "You guys go to these all the time?!"

The rest of the guys turned around to laugh at me nodded their heads and telling me about the parties and funny stories.

We had ended up making our way to the bar and we all sat up on the stools. I kind of felt a little awkward because I didn't really know anyone at the party but the guys. And all of a sudden I had got really cold. I was wearing a leather jacket, but for some reason I was freezing. I sat there trying to not shiver but I couldn't help it.

"Could we get the regular? And an extra one as well please?" Luke asked.

The guy in the bar had a dark, brown beard and was bold. He had many arm tattoos and had a scar on his left bicep. He wore a velvet short-sleeved, silk shirt. He looked at me and then nodded at Luke. He then went to grab some alcohol and was at work on making our drinks.

We got our drinks and the guys started talking about childhood memories and them in school. I would join into the conversation and tell them stories about my childhood. After a bit. Luke, Michael, and Ashton started talking to each other and Calum and I stated up a conversation.

"So you must have been like a major nerd in school then?" Calum laughed at me sipping on his drink.

I punched him in the shoulder, "Ha. Ha. Very funny." I laughed with him while holding my hairs because of the sudden chill I got from being cold. Calum looked at me and asked if I was okay.

"Oh yeah I'm fine. I just didn't realize how cold it was going to be in here."

"Yeah well they gotta keep it cool for the people dancing. Here."

He pulled off his leather jacket, "Oh no you don't have to. I'm okay."

"Shush. You are cold. I'm not going to let you sit here and freeze."

He pulled it over me to rest on my shoulders. I grabbed the sides of it to close it so that the heat would stay inside the jacket. I smiled at him while I grabbed some of my hair out of my hair and pushed it behind my ear, "Thank you." He smiled back and nodded.

"So what's college like?"

"Oh. Um it's okay. It's fun. I mean it's like high school but. Not at the same time if that makes sense."

"It kind of does haha."

Calum then started talking about how long the guys and him have known each other. I was listening most of the time, but then I started dozing off looking at what he was wearing. He was wearing a white and black striped short-sleeved shirt with black kind of skin tight jeans. He was wearing some nice black slip on boots. His shirt looked really tight on his biceps and all of his tattoos were showing. I looked at every single one and started counting but then got distracted when Calum nudged me, "Hello? Earth to Kammie?"

I snapped at out my doze and looked at him, "I'm sorry. What was the last thing you said?"

Calum laughed at me. His eyes squinting and his smile big, "Let's go dance."

I looked at him like he was crazy, "What?!"

"Let's go dance. Come on! It'll be fun!"

I looked over to see the other guys but they were gone.

"They went off somewhere upstairs."

"Oh."

Calum set his drink down on the counter and stepped off the stool. He then stood next to me and held out his hand, "Come on."

I hesitated to take it. Oh come on Kammie! What are you doing?

I slid my arms in his jacket and grabbed his hand, and we ran off into the crowd. It was a little dark so not everyone's face was noticeable. I could feel the beats of the music vibrating through the floor.

Once we got in the middle of the dance floor, Calum turned around to face me still holding onto my hand. He started to rock his body to the beat of the music. I stood there a little awkward. I mean I was dancing with Calum Hood.

"Come on! Dance!" He yelled over the music. He grabbed my other hand and started to move me with the music. I smiled and started to get a little into the music by rocking my body back and forth nodding my head.

"There ya go!" He let go of my hands and the next thing I knew, we were both jumping up and down rocking out to the music. I could feel sweat dripping down my face but I didn't care. Calum would sometimes be behind me while we were dancing because of how packed the crowd got and us jumping around. I didn't how to act about it, but I kept dancing.

A slow song came on, which I thought never came on at parties like these. Calum and I looked at each other and when I was about to ask if he wanted to go sit back down he asked, "Would you like to dance?" He held out his hand and again I hesitated. He then put his hand down and rubbed the back of his neck, "We don't have to. I just thought that maybe because we were stick in the middle of this crowd that-"

I grabbed his hands and put them on my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. At first he was shocked and a little embarrassed, "Oh okay then."

I laughed, "When is the last time you've danced with some one?"

"I've danced with a couple girls."

"Oh okay. So you know what you are doing then?"

We swayed back and forth. He smirked at me and pulled me in so close that I could feel his breathe on my skin, "I know what I'm doing."

I got a shiver down my spine once he said that. His hands gripping my waist. I looked at him straight into his dark, brown eyes as he was looking back at me. I got so embarrassed I looked away and rested my head on his chest. We continued to sway back and forth until the song ended.
