The Guest Filmer (cody carson × reader)

💥chapter 2💥

I wake up feeling cold. I then see that I fell asleep on my laptop, music still going. "Hey izzy!" I say. She doesnt respond. I throw a pillow at her. She wakes up.

"What?" She asked groggily. She seemed very tired.

"Since we don't have classes today. Would you like to grab some of our friends and film the video?" She pops up and quickly gets dressed. So do i at this point.

"Okay. We need to get down to the church and film this!" Izzy said as she grabbed her car keys. I grabbed the camera and the flashdrive with the file of me singing the song.

-time skip-

We get to the church and get everything set up.. Since we already have part of our video we can just crop it into it. We decided to use part of our 'invesigation' scene.

We get it all set up and start filming. I still have my blood stained clothes so I put those on and laid on the ground. I then act like I wake up from the dead as a ghost and roam around the church. My friend mason acts like the boyfriend. In the video its suppsed to be his 'ex' that comes back and told him he has a child now so they get married. But I wouldn't let them so the 'ex' played by izzy, kills me and so on until finally at the end the ghost is finally able t show masn the dead body.

We were about halfway through filming when we heard car doors.

Cody's POV

The band and I were planning on filming a video for 'why worry'. We had already planned this for a while. We needed a place to film. We got to thinking that there is a church in town.  We decided to film there. So we got our things.. Our extras and we went to the church.
*time skip*
We are here and the lights are on and we hear music. Strange.

"Hey guys? Do you hear that music?" I ask as i listen carefully. I then hear the words.

"Okay we get it you're both a happy couple. Why else go through the trouble, of posting like ten times a day?"

it was feminen. That was really strange. I then shrugged and helped the guys get everything and shut the doors.

(Yn) POV

"Shh guys wait.." I say as I listen I then see the door open. I get blinded by the sudden light that fills the room. I then hear laughing. Wait I know that laugh.

"Um izzy? What is hapening?" I said as I look at her. She shrugs and we look over at the door.

"Hey guys! Just bring it in here!" I hear one person say. Oddly familiar. I look at the figure but can make it out. Then another guy pops in he is decked out in a white suit. I hear a small laugh. My eyes widen as I start to think about who it was.

"Yah just right here.. Set it dow..." The man stops talking. I feel eyes on me. I feel embarrassed as I remember my blood stained clothes. I look up at the guy and I stand in shock.

"Looks like someone beat us to it!" maxx said. He startrd to laugh as cody smacked him in the gut.

"Be nice!" cody said laughing. "Sorry about that miss.." He said kindly. He then looks at me and has a puzzled look. He looks like he is thinking.

"Wait! I remember now!" He snaps his fingers. "You are one of the competitors right?" I nod my head still in shock.

"Yah. Um I'm (yourusername) but you can call me (yn)!" I say trying to spit the words out.

"Looks like your having a good time here!" I look over and saw zack talking to me.

"Um. Yah. Actually its for the contest." I say as I look down at the floor trying to keep my cool. Oh my god! Its set it off here in the same building as us!!!!

"Really!?" Asked cody. I nod my head. "Can we take a look?

"Um we aren't finished but you are free to watch us film since we are into the middle of it. But im only letting you watch cause I'm going t edit it later so you can see the actual thing and.." I get cut off by izzy.

"I think you have had too much caffeine this morning!" She says laughing. I then hear a muffled chuckle come from cody. Aww so cute. Wait what? never mind.

Cody's POV

I look at her after her friend, izzy, said something funny and I chuckled. I then started to bite on my piercing on my lip out of habit. "Um could we listen to the song? I mean it would be great to hear it!" I say as I remember its my song but she sang it in her way.

"Sure! Just a sec! Izzy come with me now!" She says as she tugs izzy's arm to talk.

I hear something muffled but can still hear it.

"Oh my god its them!!!" I hear (yn) say. I listen in again. "I'm surprised you kept your cool for that long. The last time you had.. It was brendon urie and you lost your cool real quick!" I hear izzy say. I stiffle a laugh.  I then compose myself as (yn) and izzy come back.

"Okay I have the file. Give it a listen! We are going to figure out how to film the rest." She said as she handed me a flash drive. Our hands touched for a moment as she walked away. I plug it into the computer I was using and started to listen to it with the band.

"Wow this is good!" I say out of kindness. I see her look up and blush.

"T-thank you!" She said stuttering.

I nod my head in response and watch them film the rest. I have a good feeling about this.
