Chapter 25

(present time)

Maxx's Pov

"alright! now that weve figured that out, i need to talk to the guys for a moment." i say looking at (y/n) specificaly, looking for an okay. she nods, allowing us to go talk. she goes to the back room.  

"watcha need maxx?" zach asks.

"okay so just like (y/n) said, we go to izzy's home town."

"yeah thats correct. Whats going on?" cody asks, smiling.

"well izzy wants to bring some old friends of theirs on stage to surprise her." i say with a smile as well. 

"im cool with that, as long as the guys are too." cody says as he looks at dan and zach. they both nod. "alright! then youve got the okay!"

"hell yah! ill go tell izzy then! oh! and when would be a good time to bring them on stage?"

"probably after (y/n) and i's duets." cody says as he looks around to think on that for a moment. he nods, confirming his decision. 

"got it!" i run over to my bed where my phone was and texted izzy.

M: hey babe! ive got some good news!

I: 😲what is it?

M: the boys said it was okay to bring them on stage, also Cody said the perfect time to do so would be after the duets.

I: got it! after duets! texting everyone now! thank you baby!😘

M:😘youre welcome! 

M: ill see you later!

I: see ya, ily

M: Ily2!

*end text*

After i got done texting her i went to the back to see (y/n) watching harry potter. she looks up quickly. 

"holy shit! dont scare me like that!" she laughed

"sorry, hehe, also.. Did you get into Zach's harry potter stash?" i raised an eyebrow playfully

"Shhhh. Dont tell him.. i found it." she opens a little cubby tucked in the corner of the room. I make a zipped lips face and nodded. she smiled as she continued watching.  i went to the front and grabbed cody.

"now go spend time with your girl cods. Shes watching movies. go cuddle or something" i said with a laugh, teasing him.

"aw come on! just one day without you teasing me would be fantastic!" Cody says with a chuckle.

"same here guys!" we hear (y/n) say from the back. Cody went and joined her, having the goofiest and biggest smile ive seen yet. I chuckled and sat down with the other two nut jobs.

Cody's POV

"whatup shortie" I say with a chuckle.

"been a while since youve called me that, Cutie" she says with a playfull smirk on her face. i sit down next to her and pull her to my chest.

"I see you found the potter stash?" 

"Mhm, in the cubby in the corner. not so secret if you ask me" she giggles and snuggles into my side. It was really relaxing, having her with me to pass the time with. having her to talk to when i feel low. having someone who understands. I love just hanging out with her and spending time together. It means so much having someone this special and dear to you, feel the same and want to do the same things as you. Makes me feel less alone. I mean i have the guys, but i can go to her for all my problems and she helps me the best she can. 

"Uh cods? helloooooo" i snap out of my thoughts to see a pale hand wave across my vision.

"oh um, sorry about that. i was thinking." i say with a smile.

"about?"

"how much i love you and how much i love just being around you."

"awe! thats cute! because i like it too!" she says as she kisses my cheek. she lays her head down on my lap, shifting to look up at me.

"how are you so cute?" i ask her

"i dont know, how are you so sweet and loving? we both have questions" she giggles and smiles. God, that smile captivates me. Her smile is so perfect and cute. happiness radiating from within. Her giggle so filled with joy and goofiness. 

"okay, smarty!" I chuckle and smile back. she smiles again and sits up real quick to pull the blanket onto her. as she started to go back down I kissed her. She seemed surprised at first, but quickly melted and kissed back. we shared several kisses before she smiled a big smile and layed back down, cuddling into me again. 

"youre the best" she quietly mumbled. i still heard her.

"no you" i smile down at her.

" oh you wanna go?" she playfully glared at me.

"hell yah i wanna go!" 

"lets go then!" she giggles and we start a "whos the best" competition or throwing random compliments to eachother. this went on for about five minutes before someone opened the door.

"Okay we get it lovebirds!" Zach said, he looked at the tv "hey! you got into my stash!"

"its not my fault you put your movies in an OPEN cubby in the corner." (y/n) says while giggling. 

"touche!" zach glares playfully. "alright, you have the exception."

"yay!"

"alright alright, ill leave you two be" he smiles and walks out, closing the door.

we sat there and laughed at what just happened. What did i do to deserve to have these people with me?
