Janessa
Two months later
"And the world heavy weight championship female boxer is.......Isis Almine!" the announcer said.
One week later
I turned off the TV and cried some more. Its been two months since Isis broke up with me at a hospital bed. Out of the worst place to be broken up with that was definetly the worst. I felt my heart plummented to the ground. I was gonna quit my job so I wouldn't have to see her but my mother wouldn't let me. My mother. That was where I had to move in. Now I see why they say never depend on your boy/girlfriend. I only took what I came with. All the fancy stuff, including the car, I left behind. I didn't want anything Isis paid for. Everyone was right, Isis was just a cold hearted person. I decided to go to school for nursing. That was my only way to be sure to have a secure futuree.
"Janessa. Get up. Get dress. Come downstairs I have someone for you to meet." my mother said knocking on my door. I rolled my eyes and got up and went to shower,
When I was done getting dress I headed downstairs. "Mama where are you?" I called out.
"In the kitchen" she yelled. I walked to the kitchen and saw my mama and some girl and an older lady.
"Good morning everyone" I said.
"Its evening sweetheart" my mama said.
"Oh" I said making everyone laugh. I sat down and grabbed a muffin.
"Janessa this is my friend Sarah and her lovely daughter Kassandra" mama said
"Hello nice to meet you" I looked and saw Kassandra. She was real pretty.
"Kassandra is a WNBA player for the Spartans" my mama informed me.
"Oh wow. Thats amazing!" I said.
"And thats not all she is here to offer you something"
"Well then, I would love to hear this offer"
"How would you like to dance for my team cheer team" she ask.
"OMG I would love too!" I said. Now thats a great job.
"My mom is the co- owner of the Warrior girls and she was interested in you trying out." Kassandra said.
"Yes and audition will be in two weeks" Sarah said.
"I'll be there" I said.
We said our good-byes and I looked at my mama. She set this whole thing up. "Mama what did you do" I asked her
"Nothing" she said drinking her coffee
"Mhmm. Can I borrow your keys mama" I ask
"Why"
"I need to go do something" I told her.
"Alright then" she haneded me the keys and I ran off.
When I got to the gym where I worked my heart started to race. I was so nervous. I stepped in and everyone was looking at me. I stood strraight and kept my head held high. I walked to Ryan's office and he look calmer than usually.
"Hey Janessa. Long time no see" he said.
"Ryan I need to um well resign grom being a ring girl" I said
"What! No! Why? You bring us people. Why leave?" he asked
"Because I found a better and healthier for my mentally self"
