Janessa Pov

Today was my wedding day. I waited five long months to marry the love of my life. Never have I thought I would have found love so soon, but I did. I was worried it was too soon and this was crazy. But the more I look at Kassandra the more I love her. I was totally ready to give her my all today. So we can live a happy ever after life. Sure there will be our ups and down, but what relationship doesn't. It take the couple love, loyalty, and determination to keep it alive and going. And I know Kassie and I can do that.

Our wedding was going to be small and intimate. Something sweet but still beautiful. Being a gay marriage we tend not to attract attention so haters won't come and crash our wedding. The color I chose was yellow and white. I chose yellow because its a happy go lucky color. Its bright and beautiful. And it signifies honor and loyalty.

The wedding aisle was a beach. The chairs were white and by them were pretty bouquets of yellow and white flowers. The aisle was covered in yellow rose petals. The reception area was all white. There was one big long table because I wanted everyone to be together. The table was covered in white table cloth, the napkins and center pieced were yellow. I chose my bridesmaids dresses. I didn't want a long over powering dress for them so I chose a short floral flowy cute yellow dress. My dress was wonderful. As soon as I put it on I knew it was the one. It was short in the front and long in the back. It was a fun cute white dress.

(in the mm!)

My bridemaids were my closest friends in the team and Elaina. They all were running around putting the finishing touches on me.

"You look absolutely beautiful Janessa" Elaina said.

"Thank you" I whispered. I looked at myself in the mirror and I wanted to cry.

"Where is my daughter?" my mother said coming in the room.

"I'm right here" I said. turning around facing her. It was the first time she saw the dress.

"Oh my gosh. You look so...beautiful. I couldn't pick a dress that says you better then this one. I love it dear. Now all you need is something old. Turn around" she said.

I did what she said and I turned around. I felt something cold going around my neck. I look up at the mirror and saw her diamond necklace.

"Mama its your favorite!" I said.

"Thats the same thing I said to my mama and she said to her mama and so on. Baby its a tradition. I want you to have it and pass it down to my grandbaby. Now let me go before I start crying off my make-up" she said kissing me on the cheek and leaving.

I look at myself one more time in the mirror. Was I truly ready for this? Was it too soon? If it is Jesus please give me a sign. I prayed silently and I heard the door knocking.

"Yea?" I said.

"Its time" Asha, my maid of honor, said.

"Alright" I said walking with her. I stood to the side and watch as Rayna walked first throwing more flowers on the ground. She was so cute in her white dress and daisy headband. I watch as my bridemaids walk with their spouse. I look and saw Kassie she was in an all white suit with a yellow and white polka dot bow-tie. It was my turn to walk. I walked down the aisle and stood beside my future wife.

"You look beautiful" she said. I smiled and we look at the pastor.

"Good evening ladies and gent. We are gathered here to witness the ceremonal event of Janessa and Kassandra becoming one. If anyone has a reason wy these two lovely ladies shouldn't get married please stand or forever hold your peace." he pause and looked around no one stood so he proceeded. "Marriage is one of the biggest step in a couples life. Its stressful and amazing all at the same time. To be married you must truly love one another. The couples have decided to say their own vows. Kassandra won't you start us off."
