Welcome to my first ever story that I've publised.
So.. The first 2 chapters or so are just the introduction and a bit about the character and her past to really get you into the story.
Please just give it a chance because around chapter 3 it starts to get really good and let's just say a lot of events happen.

The very secret affair.
Hi. My name is Mia. At the age of 3, I was already living in care. I'm 18 now, and alot has been going on in my life. Maybe, enough to write a book about. At the age of 16, something major changed my life! Something that I will never forget.
I'm not a normal girl. I've had atleast 30 parents, meaning 30 names, 30 schools & over 30 different places. My goal in life, was to be normal. Some people take that for granted, but at every chance I had of being normal, I would take it.
I'm going to tell you my story. It'll be easy for you, read a couple pages and it will be over. For me, it took over 2/3's of my life to find out who I really am.
At the age of 9, I was living with a family called the smiths. Francine Smith & Dave Smith. Quite an old pair. Both had dark grey hair and francine had glasses. They both had very deep rinkles & hair everywhere you looked. They didn't care alot for their image. I had to go to a school. WestBrook Academy if I can remeber correctly. In my school life, a lot has gone on. Drugs, smoke, bullying. It seems there was a new scenario in every school I went. In this school, I got heavily bullied.
People used to shout to me, "where are your grandparents?!" they meant my foster parents.
and "are they dead yet?!" and they used to push me over and make me lie on the ground, then they'd say,
"this is how your grandparents are. Dead on the ground. Just like you will be one day!"
I got sick of it. I told my social worker who had to visit frequently to check if I was doing ok. She took me away from them, and I was back to square one. I was used to it though, being alot more closer to being normal, and being like everyone else. But everytime I tried, I just couldn't. I started to wonder if I would ever have a normal life.
