When Mum dropped me to Gee's Unit, questions and questions were asked. It was like a army of bee's, buzzing above my head. Even Amy, my enemy of the house, asked me if I was OK.
"Of course I am." I replied. Even though I wasn't. I had A lot of thinking to do. What just happened in the hospital? I wondered.
"Actually, No I'm not." I reconsidered, as I went upstairs to think. I held on tight to the banner carefully, because I just noticed the blood stain on the laminate.

After several hours had past after I had come home, I was still thinking. What to do. I went to sit down in front of a mirror. I brushed my shiny brown hair as I sighed. Being a normal girl wasn't going to be as easy as I had thought. By the side of my mirror was my knickers' draw. On top of it, lay my phone. Then I remembered why I was in such a mood. My phone wasn't all that, I mean, out of the 1-10, and 1 being the lowest, it was probably a 4. It didn't have touch screen or any of that nonsense. But, Gee's Unit wasn't the richest of places. I was lucky even having a phone. On my best behaviour, I begged for months to get one. I was disappointed with what they had got me, but at the end of the day, as long as it can call and text its OK. I stroked its metallic finish as I slouched on my chair.
There was a knock on the door.
"Come in," I yelled. Putting down my brush and placing my phone carefully in my pocket. My room was a dark blue one, almost like the ocean, except it was bluer. It had a little circle window. My bed was right in the middle of the room and my wardrobe and draws all at the side. This meant I had space to dance and fool around when I was bored. They opened the door. It was Amy. Oh gosh.
"What do you want Amy?" I Asked, not even bothered to look at her. I carried on combing my hair.
"You banged your head for a reason." She said. I was confused.
"What are you talking about?"
"Cos your a dumb bitch, you banged your head. It served you right anyway." She said all smug. I wasn't even go to lower myself to her standards.
"OK then Amy. Play all nice in front of everyone else, then act rude so it seems like I'm the bitch. I ain't falling for it. So you can leave."
"Oh no, you saw right through me." She sarcastically said.
"K. Bye. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Actually.."
"Ha. At least my Mum ain't a druggie." I kind of took offence to that. But she was right, my Mum was a drugie. She had stopped by that point, but she still was.
"OK." I said.
"Your such a loser. You can't even defend yourself."
"OK." I repeated.
"I beg your Mum and sister planned for you too say here. I bet they didn't want you anywhere near them." She continued.
"That's not true!" I stated.
"Yes it is. All of us think it, even your OWN social worker. Face it, your unwanted." She turned around to leave, but as she did I yanked her hair. She starting screaming.
"What? Don't like that?" I Said, still clutching her hair.
"Get Off me!" She screamed. I took her down to the floor and started banging her head down. At this point, she started to fight back. She punched my face, leaving my jaw wobbling. I was still grasping her hair. She tried to reach for mine but I smacked her hand really hard. I could see her fighting her tears.
"Get off me!" She yelled again. I got up and let go of her hair, and kicked her on the ground. She kicked me on the leg from where she was laying still. Then she got up and smacked me. Her claws for nails caught my eye and my eye started to water.
"Oh, you don't like THAT, do you?" she shouted.
She attempted again to grasp my hair, and this time she succeeded. I had to be dragged around like a dog on a leash.
"Get off me you tramp!" I shouted. Finally, Maria run up the stairs and stepped in.
"Ladies, ladies, please!" she yelled, trying to break us apart. I held up breathe as she raised her arms. When she finally broke us up, she took us downstairs to have "a little chat." Not knowing, all the aggression had caused my phone to fall out of my pocket, and under my bed.
We went into her office, and it smelt like chicken.
"Now, now ladies, what caused this?" She said, as she sat us down at different sides of her office.
"She just came into my room and started to cause trouble!" I defended myself.
"Not true!" She lied. I looked at her.
"Yes it is true!"
Maria just sat there, finishing off the remaining cold tea in her mug. After 10 minutes passed, she had had enough.
"Do you know what ladies, your both grounded!"
"WHAT?!" I shouted. I have innocently defended myself from all the verbal abuse I received from her, and I had to get punished?!
"Maria, I don't think this is fair. She started it!" I said. Pointing to the vile creature that was across the wrong. She stuck her tongue out at me, like a little stupid baby.
"Well your both grounded. Fair or not. You know the drill, you can't go out after school. No telly. No laptops. All chores. Oh and hand over your phones!"
Amy didn't even try and fight it. She reached into her pocket and handed over the latest Blueberry Ice 3G. How I would love to have that phone. It was touch screen and still contained a separate keyboard. Why was it that all the bad ones got everything they wanted? I could tell Amy was happy. She may have been grounded but she had got me grounded too, so that was OK. I reached into my pocked and rummaged around. After finding out my phone wasn't in there I went upstairs. I looked around a bit, checked in my drawers and wardrobes. Then I lied on the floor and checked under my bed. There it was! But what was this? A missed call? From who? I rang the number back.
"Hello?" A male voice answered. Could it have been?
"Hi. Who is this?" I asked.
"Don't you remember me? From the hospital?" it was him! Did I seriously have to give my phone over now?! I tried to think of a plan of how to keep it but none worked. That could of been the start of something new, but because of Amy it was blown.
"Oh. Yeah of course! I will ring you back later, OK?" I Said, doubtfully.
"OK." He said. He sounded disappointed but there was nothing I could do. I carefully ran back down the stairs and gave the phone to Maria. I had to figure out a way of getting that phone back, and fast!
