Hello all! So we are in Book IV now! This book is about Jon Snow and Tauriel who is a wildling, so, just a warning, these two don't see each other in this book. But this is going to set them up, let you all see who Tauriel is, really since we all know what Jon does in season one, which is like, nothing except train... but yeah. This book will be pretty short honestly because I am going to not going to literally rewrite the script of what Jon does for season one. Sorry! Anywho, here's the summary:

Jon Snow is the bastard son of Eddard Stark. He does not know who his mother is, or was if she is dead, as Eddard has always refused to tell him. Jon has been feeling quite lonely these past few months and has been debating taking the black like his Uncle Benjen did when he was Jon's age. Which, by the way, is sixteen. Catelyn Stark, Eddard's wife, has hated Jon for as long as he can remember, which really makes his life miserable. But he loves his siblings, even if they don't get along all the time. Especially Robb and Arya, who never treat him like he is different than the rest of their siblings. Jon knows that love is never in the cards for him, as it is unheard of for bastards to marry, and he doesn't want to be involved with a woman out of wedlock as any child created through their love would be a bastard too, and that is no life for any child. Therefore, Jon wants to take the Black, and help defend the Seven Kingdoms from the evils that lurk beyond the wall.

Tauriel is the daughter of the King Beyond the Wall. She is also his personal shield against any dangers. Her mother was killed by the Walker King when she was seven. She still remembers the cold that came with him, and has a scar on her neck, in the shape of a hand, from where he had grabbed her to throw her away from her mother. Who, as far as Tauriel knows, had done nothing to incur the wrath of the dreaded Walker King. Even though Tauriel has proved herself to be the greatest warrior in the Wildling Army, she still lives in fear that the Walker King will come looking for the mark he put on the blond haired child and finish the job he had started ten years prior. Her father promises that it will not happen, that he won't let it happen. Tauriel, along with being the greatest warrior, is also a Warg. She uses her abilities to control the animals around her, which allow her to do things such as: riding mammoths.
