I’ve been here in the void for two decades already, watching over Mike's Reincarnation and Second Life. Seeing him like that, happier than his previous one made everything worth it.
Not once did I ever regret my decision, I’m content seeing the most important person in my life be able to smile without worries and sadness. I’m happy for him. Not that I would admit it.
But seeing his face filled with hope and dreams is enough. I will endure everything just to keep that look on him.
Keep living and don’t let the hardships in life affect you, Mike. I might not be able to be with you and you will never be able to remember me, but I will remain connected to you.

Walking down the streets after school with his friends, the boy turned to look back. He felt like someone called to him but nobody was there.
His friends asked him what's wrong. To which he brushes away.
