Lily's POV

The bell rang for lunch and I was so glad it did because it saved me from bearing physics. I hated lunch for one reason and one reason only. I hated it because I was not able to eat to my fill like all tothers did. The girls around me who worshipped me  ( god knows why they do, it's annoying) expected me to watch my weight. I hated telling them why I can eat what I want so I just decided to do what's expected of me. I can eat whatever I want most times because I'm blessed with a high metabolic rate and I workout everyday at home.

Being extremely annoyed I grabbed my tray full of salads, apple and milk and made my way to our table. Mine, Emma's, Jason's, Collin's, Zoe's and Nicole's. It was just Emma at the table eating by herself, the others probably had something else that came up. Nicole was probably in the janitor's closet hooking up with some guy and Zoe probably sucking some freshman's face off just to try and make Collin jealous. High school drama.

Emma was in front of me peacefully eating her cheeseburger away. My stomach grumbled at the sight. Emma wouldn't have been at this table if it weren't for me being her best friend since kindergarten and of course, Jason being her boyfriend. Zoe, Collin and Nicole only talk to her because of us, we hate them for that because Emma is actually an amazing person. They just don't bother giving anyone a chance.
Emma was almost done with her burger when I started to eat. She workouts and has good genes too. She doesn't get fat even if she eats a lot, like me.

I looked down at my unappealing tray of food.

Well, at least I have this

Well, at least I have this. There are kids who don't get even one meal for days.

I told Emma about how Mr. Olsen has asked me to get tutored by Aaron James to improve my grades in Math and how his grades would go lower of mine don't go up.

Emma dropped her nugget back in her tray and exclaimed, " That's  not fair! You can't change partners now either, because he'll go tell Mr. Olsen and that'll get you in trouble."

"Exactly." I replied, grumpily.

"I can't believe he's good in Math
though."

"Rumors aren't always true Em." I said in a know it all tone just to annoy her.

Rumors were that Aaron failed in all his subjects but was still in school because he had close connections with the principal. Also, there were rumors that he was in a mafia, he was a drug dealer and that he's been to jail a couple of times. No one has solid proof of all this though. We just couldn't believe he actually gave a damn to do well in school

"Where's your boyfriend?" I asked Emma, with a wink at her direction.

She rolled her eyes and smirked,
" You mean your cousin?"
