Chapter 6: Tested

After an hour or so everyone finally finished. After Ban and King there was Meliodas, Escanor, Gowther, than Merlin.
"Okay now you all are finally here, we're going to practice your mental skills." Ruby says. "Follow me inside the castle."

We walk into the castle into an arena. "We didn't see this on the tour." Merlin says. "Well, I wasn't there and this room only opens when I command it to. It's like that in all of the castles." She says. She points to spots were we stand. She brings out a wand. "Darkness Black cage." She screams then it all goes black. She appears in all of our minds.

" We are here to see if the person you love and trust the most, get hurt and see how you react. The motto is fight now, grieve later. Unless you wanna die to."

*^Meliodas POV^*

After being in the dark, I'm on this land. It looks so familiar. "Ugh Meliodas!" I hear someone say. "Your so lazy! I called you 20 times and you didn't respond." I was in shock. It was Liz! "L-L-Li-iz" I shudder. "Yeah, are you okay? You've been off lately." She says. I put my hand behind my head. "Yeah I'm okay." I sat then smile. Everything goes dark again.

I'm running now and I'm carrying, ELIZABETH! Ruby's  going back in time. Shes a mage. No, she's not going back in time she's in my head. I stop and look at Elizabeth. I know something bad is going to happen so I close my eyes and kiss her forehead. When I open them they were killed like how Grand master was. "E-E-Elizabeth....." Meliodas stutters. He looks down and breath.

He takes all the knifes out of there body's and place them in a grave next to each other seeing its baby her and real her. He cry's a bit then gets up. "I'm okay Ruby." He says. The darkness goes away. Merlin, Gowther, Hawnk, and Escanor is already sitting there waiting.

"How did you finish Merlin?" I ask. "I don't care that much about people. She couldn't find anything, same for Gowther." She says.
"Hawnk?" I ask. "What she showed me I already went threw." He says. "Escanor?" I ask. "It took me a few trys. It doesn't seem long but you've been in thee for 3 hours." He says. Meliodas looks shocked. "So Ban, King, Diane, and Elizabeth is still in there!" I yell. They all nod.

He turns around to see a screen on top of there head. I see Elizabeth crying at the death of me, her sisters, and her father. Ban is crying because King and Eline is dead. And King is crying about Ban. "Hey, at least it's no secret that King and Ban like each other, huh." Meliodas says than laughs. And Diane is crying for King.

I let out a small breath. "Ima get food, seeing what you showed them it may take days." I say. "Oh, they will die if they take more than 48 hours." Ruby says. I turn around, "What did you say?" I yell. "It's apart of the mental test." She says. "This is a training not a test!" I yell. "That's why it's not 12 hours." Ruby says. "Elizabeth won't die for this because she just needs to just work on physical and magical. But Ban and King need to get out of there." Ruby says.

"I'm glad Elizabeth won't die from this, knowing her she couldn't stand this pain alone. But I highly believe that Ban, King, and Diane will come back." I say.

They waited and waited. Diane came out after 6 more hours. Ban, King, and Elizabeth is still in there. "It's been 9 hours! How many times are you going to make them suffer?" Diane says.

"Elizabeth made improvement so as King. But Ban keeps doing the same thing. It just proves he never learns from his lessons." Ruby says. "Ugh, is there anyway we can talk to him?" Merlin. "Yeah, who wants to be sent in?" Ruby asks. "Send me, he's my best friend." Meliodas says. She nods, Meliodas gets sent into blackness so as Ban.

"Am I done!" Ban asks. "No, I was sent to warn you." Meliodas says. He smirks. "You need to learn from your mistakes. If you don't make it you'll die." He says. "What are you talking about Captain?" He says.

Meliodas explains the situation. "I'm sorry, but it's about my two favorite people. I can't not cry." Ban says. Meliodas nods. "Is King done?" Ban asks. "Not that I know of. You, king, and Elizabeth are the only ones left. Elizabeth won't die because she's a healer and emotions is a main for her. But you and King will. Please, live for him." Meliodas says. Ban nods.

Meliodas gets sent down. "What took you so long?" Gowther asks. "What do you mean?" Meliodas asks. "You've been in there for 4 hours." Merlin says. Meliodas eyes go big. Does that mean it's even less time. Meliodas turns around and was rewarded with a hug. "I made it, Sir Meliodas!" Elizabeth says.

He hugs her back. "I'm so happy!" He says. The 24 hour mark went by fast. When we got back, there was a big clock. It was counting down from 19 hours. "What's this?" Esconor asks. "It's a timer. There only two people left." She says.

"No, one."
