It has been a long while since you found Viren talking to a mirror.

Just a few months ago, you were still pretty shy in front of the presence of a magical starry being, but now, you act like your true self in front of it. Terrible jokes left and right, but hey, at least you credit your source. Gren. He has definitely been an influence on your already energetic behaviour.

While Aaravos found you interesting and amusing, Viren reacted the same every time. Maybe a small chuckle every now and then, but majority of the time he would just grunt and grumble.

It was a bit odd at first you'll admit, but the first few days with Aaravos were a bit too awkward. According to Viren, he'd request your presence which you found odd at first.

I mean, who'd want to talk to me?

But as the weeks piled up, a friendship between you and Aaravos just...sparked. The first time you saw him, he had his serious, intimidating and smirking face. But with you, and you only, he'd crack smiles and play along with your jokes.
You really liked that.

Going down to the dungeon become such a common thing, that you added it to your daily routine. As little as five minutes, to as much as you ending up asleep on the cold hard stone floor.

Today wasn't any different.

You took a large bite from your pancake before running off into the dungeon. Greeting Gren and holding a small conversation became a normality. You still don't really understand why he's there. But unlike a few months ago, he has his own room. No longer chained up, has all the freedom he could get inside a cell.

"(Y/N)! Good morning, ready for the daily joke?" Gren noticed your appearance inside of the dungeon. You skipped to his cell, excitedly waiting for his amazing jokes.

"Have you ever been fishing before? I only ask because I really think that we should hook up. Get it?! Hook up, fishing, eh eh eh?!" A wide smile spread across yours and Gren's faces.

"I get it, hey! Its even February. Too bad I don't have anyone to tell this joke to" You laughed.

Gren and you spoke for a little while before coming to an end. He apparently has a small book of jokes, and what makes it better is that he thought of them all.

You walked to the Aaravos room a few spaces down. Viren had already gotten there before you to speak whatever he speaks about with Aaravos. Sometimes, its a disadvantage because he's always watching over what you say.

As soon as you entered the well lit room, you closed the door behind you.

"Good morning Viren, and Good morning Aaravos!" You smiled. You caught the two not talking much, which you found slightly weird as you always find them in deep conversations.

Viren grunted. Rude.
But Aaravos was nice and greeted you back with a small smile and wave.

"Are you ready for today's joke?" You asked as you took a seat on the extra chair.

Aaravos nodded, Viren just grunted.

"Have you ever been fishing before?....I only ask because I really think that we should..hook up!" You laughed.

"That was even worse than yesterday's, how is it even possible" Viren grunted as he rubbed his eyes. From the corner of your eye, you noticed Aaravos hiding away his laugh by putting his hand over his mouth. Once you faced him, he shot you a small smirk.

"I know you like them!" You looked up sf Viren. He took a deep breath before sitting up and walking to the door. You know, like when people look out the window to think? Well he does it with the door quite often. From the corner of your eye, you saw multiple twinkles appearing from Aaravos'  hand.

Was he trying to get you attention? Either way, it worked. You stared at Aaravos in confusion. He slightly tilted his head before putting a finger over his lip, as in to be quiet. With his free hand, he raised it up to his shoulder level before magically snapping glowing hearts and sparkles. He smirked under his finger.

You stared at it all. Okay, what?
Your cheeks turned very warm way too fast. You felt them going red. So much that the touch of your hands against your cheeks snapped you out of your mind. Did he just make magical hearts appear, for you?!

"(Y/N), are you okay?" You heard Viren ask. He placed a hand over your shoulder, concerned yet confused to your sudden change. Have you been lost in thoughts for so long? Apparently, yeah.

"Y..yeah. You know, I didn't finish my breakfast, I'll get going" You stuttered. Viren looked at you weirdly. He hummed in return.

Before leaving the room, you looked back at the mirror one last time, and there he was. There he was, Aaravos, staring at you go. And just as you were about to turn around, he did something that made you squeal just a bit.

He winked at you.

So I stayed up to 12am or so to finish this. Eyes started messing with me, kept thinking I saw shadows and stuff but I just needed the sleep. BUT I couldn't just leave the beauty unfinished.
