Chapter Thirteen

Sarynna: "I have to stay so you know what she's saying."
Jonah: "I understand some sign language."
Sarynna: "Okay. We need to leave and get some sleep, take showers, and get some sun. Let's go boys, goooooo."
Boys: *leave*
Sarynna: *was about to close the door but looked back in at Jonah and mouthed* "Just do it, don't be afraid." *left*
~In The Room~
Destiny: 'What did you want to talk about?'
Jonah: "I just have something I need to tell you, something that I've felt for awhile."
Destiny: 'Shoot.'
Jonah: "I-I like you, Destiny."
Destiny: *sat there shocked* 'You, like me?'
Jonah: *nods* "Like, like like."
Destiny: 'As in girlfriend like?"
Jonah: "Yes."
Destiny: *looks into a random direction which turns out to be away from Jonah and lets out a breath then looks back at the direction she thought he was in* 'This is a lot to take in.'
Jonah: "I know, I also know that it's the worst time to bring this up but, I have to leave soon and go back to Maine. I just wanted to tell you how I felt before I left." *stood up to leave and the bed squeaked*
Destiny: 'Wait,' *tried to grab his arm after signing and guessed where it was and actually caught it*
Jonah :*turns around*
Destiny: 'I like you too Jo, I just don't know if I'm even ready for a relationship after what happened between me and Corbs.'
Jonah: "I understand." *sits back down on her bed and the bed squeaks again*
Destiny: 'How long until you leave?'
Jonah: "Two days."
Destiny: 'That soon? Does anyone else in the group know?'
Jonah: "Not yet, I just thought that you would want to know first."
Destiny: *smiles* 'Thanks for being there for me for the past few days, I really appreciate it.'
Jonah: "No problem, I have a question though."
Destiny: 'Shoot.'
Jonah: "How come when you start having an attack or you're heart starts to beat quickly it slows down when I speak to you?"
Destiny: *blushes* 'Well, it could mean many things.'
Jonah: "Name one."
Destiny: 'It could mean that I trust you, a lot.'
Jonah: "Well, that's good to know." *chuckles*
Destiny: *laughs slightly but winces right after* 'This sucks.'
Jonah: "I would guess it would."
Destiny: *smiles and reaches for Jonah's hand*
Jonah: *holds her hand*
Destiny: *hugs him and pulls away slightly and, supposedly, looked at Jonah* 'I really do like you, I miss seeing your handsome face.'
Jonah: *smiles* "I miss you being able to make eye contact with me."
Destiny: *smiles and moves her hands up to his face, cradling his cheek*
Jonah: *puts his hand on Destiny's and leans into her hand*
Destiny: *moves forward and guessed that what she kissed was his forehead*
Jonah: *blushed and leans in to kiss her on the lips*
Destiny: *felt the feeling of lips hovering over hers*
Jonah: "I really, really like you Destiny."
Destiny: 'It's Destanna, my name is Destanna.'
Jonah: "What do you mean?"
Destiny: 'My real name is Destanna.'
Jonah: "Well, Destanna, can I kiss you?"
Destiny: *nods*
Jonah: *kisses her*
Destiny: *kisses back*
???: *knocks on the door*
Destiny: *pulls away quickly*
Jonah: "Come in."
Doctor: *walks in* "I need to speak with Destiny alone, please?"
Destiny: 'Whatever you have to say, he can hear it too.'
Jonah: "She said that whatever you have to say, I can hear it too."
Doctor: "Are you sure?"
Destiny: *nods*
Doctor: "We got the results back from the small tests we did."
Jonah: "And what were they?"
Doctor: "Destiny has MS and Lung Cancer."
Destiny: *starts to cry*
Machine: *beeps faster*
Jonah: "Hey, hey. You're okay, is there any way we can cure any of it?"
Doctor: "Well, the cancer can be removed, but it's a very risky procedure."
Destiny: 'Do it.'
Jonah: "She said to do it."
Doctor: "Okay, I will be back soon. The nurses will prepare the OR and other nurses will prep you for surgery."
Destiny: *nods*

Jonah: "What do you want me to tell Sarynna?" he asked putting a hand on her thigh

Destiny: 'Don't tell her anything' she signed

Jonah: "She needs to know, she's your sister." he sighed

Destiny: 'That's exactly why she doesn't need to know' she signed

Jonah: "Okay." he said as his head fell and filled with sorrow

Doctor: *walked over to him and patted his back* "She'll be fine, she won't go without a fight, I can feel it." he said

Destiny: 'You would be correct.' she signed

Jonah: "She says you would be correct." he stated

Doctor: "I'll let you guys talk." he said as he left.
Jonah: *looks back at Destiny with sad eyes*
Destiny: 'Stop staring, creep.' *laughs lightly*
Jonah: "How did you know I was staring?"
Destiny: 'It was really quiet and I could feel your eyes on me.'
Jonah: *chuckles* "I really don't want to leave you here."
Destiny: 'You have to, your mother would be really upset if you didn't go.'
Jonah: "I know, but I just don't want you going through all of this alone."
Destiny: 'I understand, but I have the rest of the guys and Sarynna. Plus, your mother would probably never let you leave her house again if you don't go this time.'
Jonah: "The other guys are going home to their parents too. So, it'll be just you and Sarynna."
Destiny: 'Again, I'll be fine. I have my sister and I think that's all I'll need while y'all are gone, as long as I have someone I'll be fine.'
Jonah: "Do you think y'all could skype us all every night?"
Destiny: 'Aren't y'all going to be in a different time zones than us?'
Jonah: "Yeah, but I don't think any of us would care. No matter how early or late you skype me, I'll always answer. If you don't skype me during the day, I won't sleep until you skype me."
Destiny: *shook her head* 'You need your sleep, don't stay up all night just for me.'
Jonah: "I would search the whole world and sea just to talk with you, I think I can survive a whole night without sleep. Plus, I have coffee."
Destiny: *laughs and notices that her throat is opening back up again* 'Get the doctor, my throat is opening back up.'
Jonah: "Okay," *leaves and comes back with the doctor*
Doctor: "Okay, you're throat seems to be opening back up which means we'll take out
