Searching for a light

A tiring day after work, an awful game afternoon session and a boring night of not having a single good TV show to watch before going to sleep, Those were the last things I could remember before waking up in cold and rolling toward a wet place made which me open my eyes and start looking around while standing up. "It might be cold and dark but my room was no cave" was my first thought, "Where am I?" was the second and after some weird noises "How can I get out of here?" was the last thing I could think about before I started looking for a way out as quickly as possible.

"Why would he want to leave so quickly?" I bet you are wondering that. Well, it was because I was being chased, I cannot tell by what, but at a glance behind my back made me look directly into a pair of purple and red eyes standing higher than me who was almost two meters tall, at least three heads taller than me and heavy steps that made the water that I rolled to a second ago splash all around. I knew it wasn't a welcome party and decided to run away as fast as possible. The cave had another idea...I stepped into a hole and lost balance; fake running as I quickly met the ground and barely covered my face. I had to react quickly and stand up but it was too late. I could feel the creature standing behind me as its presences gave me a chill throughout my whole body. I turned around in fear and brave, wanting to at least know the identity of my soon to be killer but what I saw was not death, it was light! A light that went right in the middle of the purple red eyes and brushed my ear making a clean hole behind me as the creature turned hitting me away with its arm and chasing toward the light's origin but meeting the blade of a sword and the ground right after as a person struck it swiftly from the side and strengthened its attack, fully piercing and cutting through both, the creature and the ground, making the creature vanish into a burst of shadows.

After the creature's dead body vanished, which I didn't fully understand why, the guy who struck it down spoke:

- Hey Jhin! I hope you didn't get him along with the Búlkar. We have to move out before they come to absorb its essence.

Behind me appeared a guy wielding a pair of white and silver patterned Desert Eagles which vanished into thin air as he approached me.

- Hello there, I'm sorry if I hit you but we need to move out before I can give you more details, we aren't save here I will explain you all later. Can you stand up?

I nodded and stood up, following them throughout the cave, multiple tunnels could be seen as the first guy was leading us and the second guy, Jhin, was checking our backs until we reached the exit where weird looking vehicle was waiting for us, it looked like a car but without tires and it had four turbines on the back while a glass protecting the inside disappeared and re appeared as we got in. The first guy introduced its blade into a small keyhole and the vehicle turned on and we drove away from the cave which ended up being just a small part of a big mountain surrounded by storm clouds as black as the night as if the sun would have never touched that place.

-After you talk with the Boss you can rest, he wants to meet you as soon as possible. Jhin will show you the way once we arrive, The Boss should be able to answer all your questions.

-How come he is expecting me already? Where will I meet him at? -I asked intrigued and at the same time confused about if I could trust my saviors blindly or not.

-He will be at our advance post near here; we will arrive any minute now so you will have your questions answered in a minute. Jhin, show him the way would you? --He said as we landed in front of a four floors castle like building, with a blue sky on top of it and curiously, and empty grassland around it.

I followed Jhin inside and the first floor was a wide and empty room except by a desktop and a chair in the middle with no one sitting on it, light balls standing all around the room some white and some gray with something barely legible from where I was standing.

-The Boss is on the room B13; use the 4th light on the left from here. You will want some privacy so go ahead I will see you afterwards.

- Use the left light? What do you mean?

-You just have to walk into the light you see floating there, count them and walk into the 4th one, they work like doors, if they are white you are free to walk in if not you have to check on the middle but don't worry about it, It will get you to him as it's open now.

I followed Jhin's instructions and walked into the light, a weird feeling filled my body as I felt light for an instance and then the room I was at instantly changed into a smaller room with an Egyptian style, a small pyramid painting, a book shelf with old hieroglyphics on its books covers and a patterned table where, behind it, with a full body armor without it's helmet and with a wide smile directed at me was an old man: The Boss.
