Training to fulfill my destiny

I followed Jhin trough the light which teleported us to a white room with nothing but a control panel next to us.

-What is this place? -I asked confused

-Your head, don't you recognize the emptiness? -He replied laughing as he played with the panel while mumbling a rhythm- We are in one of many empty rooms as this is one of the newest outposts we have raised and it's still yet to be filled up. That's why I thought making it into a training room for our newest newcomer would be a good idea

The room shined and it turned into the backyard of a medieval castle with dummies, targets and a weapons and armors racket on the sides.

-Since you mentioned swords I thought you would like this -he said smirking proudly-

-Am I supposed to pick something I like then? I said looking through the different swords and armors trying to find something that would suit me.

-What? No, that's for after you are done with the Shining, Here catch!

Jhin tossed an emblem with a yellow shine shaped like a shield "The light which protects the world" that's how we like to be known and what that emblem means so wear it proudly and see you later!

As soon as I grabbed it Jhin and the fields disappeared and I felt as if I was back at the cave but this time I felt ...despair, anger, fear, madness, and insanity mixing with me the longer I stared at the nothingness that was the darkness which surrounded me. I wanted not to run, but to stand my ground, to protect myself and fight back against these feelings which invaded my mind and body, and that was when my left arm started to feel weird: The Goosebumps turned into a small burn, then I could feel my skin being peeled off little by little as a million of knifes were cutting it, then an intense pressure which felt as if my arm bones were being crushed followed by a cold feeling that made all before felt like a good night kiss as I opened my eyes again, knees on the ground, heartbeat like crazy and hands...shining hand? I looked at my left hand and it was there no more. In its place was now silver like gauntlet which reached almost to my elbow. I could move it at will but I couldn't remove it no matter how hard I tried to pull it off. I looked up trying to seek for help from Jhin as he had already approached me with a book in hand as he flipped the pages.

-I can't really find it; it seems to be a new kind of "armor?" It's all alright now, Mario. That was just the process to make your weapon to appear. Mine was a hell of a ride with a lot of crows rushing toward me with their noises and I needed something to shoot them down and these beauties appeared and I managed to kill all the crows.- He smiled as a pair of Desert Eagles in a white and silver color with an arrow pattern on the sides appeared on Jhin's hands- They never run out of bullets as long as I'm breathing of course and they are pure light so they can blind my target and it's perfect to fight the creatures like the one which attacked you, the Búlkar.- He made the guns disappeared as he gave me his hand to help me stand up- I'm sorry I tend to talk a lot when I'm nervous, how are you feeling? What did you fight?

-I didn't fight anything at all, I felt weird and then an intense pain and this thing showed up on my hand and I can't get it off me

-Weird, weapons are not supposed to stay unless you wish them to. Perhaps since it's an armor type it won't go away? It's not that weird so let's test it out to see what it really does.

Jhin went to the panel again and a knight appeared with a shield and a sword in hand, made a gesture with its sword waiting for me to reply it.

-It's a duel! You have to accept it for him to attack you, don't take him lightly or you will meet the ground! Try punching him first to try out what you can do

I bowed my head a little and put my guard up as the knight rushed at me with a simple slash which I avoided easily and then intended to hit him back but the shield protected him, he hit me with the side of the sword and we gained distance.

-Any feelings to that punch? It barely looked special maybe due to it being an armor type? Try to just block him armor types tend to activate when the user is in danger the first time.

-Block a sword with just a gauntlet? It would be easier if it was a as that's what one of those is meant for - I said as the knight dashed toward me with a quick slash and I barely managed to put the my gauntlet arm between the sword and me as the knight was sent back with a short shine and a hilt was now sticking out from my gauntlet around the wrist. I grabbed it with my right hand and pulled it out and a sword with the same shape as the one from the knight but with a white color pattern and some words written along the blade "Light Sword" I managed to read as the knight launched himself at me and I swiftly replied with a counter and his sword flied away in an instant, he looked down and knelled. 

-Impressive, your gauntlet has a copy like ability! -Said Jhin as he walked closer to inspect the sword - It has some weird drawings on the blade though, wonder what it means...

-"Light Sword" I said confused- Can't you read? It's clearly written there

Jhin looked at me with half a smile thinking I was playing a joke but met my serious look and the smiled disappeared

-These are ancient writings, not everybody can read them Mario. You have got yourself a really good weapon so I'll leave you training while I go talk with the Boss to inform him of the awakening of your weapon all right?- He said with a smile as he walked toward the panel and ten knights showed up as he walked through the light

I bowed once again as the knights one by one rushed toward me, I felt how light my body felt, how easy it was to move around and how slow the knight had become after the sword had come out, It took me no time to send two swords flying around as the knights fell back and another one took their place as the previous ones went out to search for their swords I trained for hours before I realized Jhin was not coming back and bowed at the knights for them to stop, thankfully it worked as I wondered how to make my sword disappeared and tried putting it back inside the gauntlet which surprisingly worked! Sadly, it also made me fall to the ground as I felt as if a heavy load had been put on my shoulders and a voice made it into my head before passing out "Finally"
