Chapter 2 : naruto and hunter x hunter

Naruto was just sitting in his favorite ramen stand eating his favorite ramen like usual. His day was good. Ramen was good. Life was good...

If only.

"AHHHHH!!" a scream was heard. Naruto, being the loyal konoha shinobi that he was, had to go and check it out even if it meant leaving his precious... precious... ra-men...

Okay, maybe he will go after he finished his food.

The blonde quickly inhaled, literally inhaled his food and placed the cash on the counter before sprinting off to the source of the scream.

Yup. Ramen was good.

He found there a girl, she was trapped in some sort of blob. It had the colors of the rainbow swirling around like a malestorm with a bright light emitting from it.

Various konoha shinobi tried to get her out and stop the mass of blinding colors from spreading but to no avail, in fact, even more civilians and even shinobi were getting trapped in it.

Naruto was confused.

He had also tried to stop it but all efforts were in vain. He decided to confront tsunade about it.

Quickly running through the panicked streets of konoha, he made it to the hokage's office in less then a minute.

"baa-chan, what's happening!?" he questioned while bursting through the doors with such a force that they almost broke. He could see the thing through the window and it was spreading.

There he found the rest of team seven along with jiraya.

"good, your here, do any of you know what's happening?" asked tsunade seemingly calm but you could sense the urgency in her voice.

Sakura furrowed her brows "perhaps an attack from the akatsuki?" she theorized.

"if so, how are they doing this? nothing can penetrate it" stated kakashi with narrowed eyes.

"yeah, even my seals are useless" said jiraya with cold sweat trickling down his forehead in nervousness and worry.

"damn it! how are we gonna fix this baa-chan!?" exclaimed naruto. She slammed her fist on her desk.

"I don't know either!" she shouted with some kind of desperation.

"this- this is otherworldly" stated sasuke with his sharingan activated as he stared at the blob. He couldn't see any chakra in it, only some kind of weird energy that was far too bright and clean to be chakra.

Naruto's eyes widened at his rival's words "wait, n-no, it couldn't be could it?" he muttered with fear. Everyone heard him.

"what? you know something?" asked sakura with worry. Naruto was not one to be afraid.

The blonde looked up with such serious eyes that they questioned if they even knew the person in front of them.

Just as he opened his mouth to speak, a blinding light engulfed them causing them to shut their eyes tightly.

Gon was a simple kid. He sees a monster, he fights it to test his power, no mater the size, big or small.

What he didn't expect, however, was to be engaging in a conversation with a giant sand beast about whether if snakes had butts or not.

Gon was defending that it didn't while the beast was defending that they, indeed, do have butts.

It growled "I'm telling you kid, snakes. have. butts. PERIOD!" the sand beast said while slamming a paw on the ground getting agitated at the kid's stuborness, it reminded him of a certain blonde.
