          *Mickey's POV*

We finally arrived at Pattie's house after about a half an hour of cuddling in the car. I just love Justin's speech so much and to tell you the truth, I think I really feel the same way. Of course, I want us to one day get married, have kids, grow old together, and well, everything else he talked about.

Justin and I had just gotten out of the car. We walked up to her front porch and stood in the doorway. I'm still kinda nervous.

"Justin, I'm still kind of scared." I admitted.

He just looked at me and laughed in disbelief. I don't get why this is so funny, I mean, I haven't seen his mom in a little over six years, and this was around the time I started having anxiety attacks and such.

"Honey, you're going to be fine. My mom loves you. Besides, Lord knows that she knows what I used to do before you and I started going out. Just think how she's going to react when she finds out that you've changed me for the better." He explains

"Yeah, but-" He cuts me off.

"No buts, she loves you and you're going to be fine." He states.

Justin rings the doorbell and within a couple minutes, Pattie walks out wearing a floral blue top with some jeans and hoop earrings. She smiles and embraces Justin into a warm hug.

"Hi honey, it's so good to see you again!" She exclaims.

"Hi mom, it's good to see you too, you remember Mickey." Justin introduces me.

She pulls away from their hug to look at me. Her eyes widen as if she's stunned to see me again. She smiles and also embraces me in a warm hug.

"Mickey! It's been so long since I've seen you. My goodness, you've grown, you look beautiful." She says with enthusiasm.

"Thanks, you don't look so bad yourself." I say to her. She's nicer than I remember.

"Why don't you guys come in, I'll make some coffee." She offers.

"Sounds good." Justin says as we walk into her house.

   ______

We're all currently just sitting in her house, drinking coffee, talking about life. Justin even happened to mention the fact that we're dating and Pattie just seemed thrilled.

"You know, I hope this means no more late night partying and drinking and all that stuff." She teases.

"Yes mom, I promise you I'm done with it. It's in the past and it's all behind me now." He assures her. "I'm going to go to the bathroom." He says as he he gives me a kiss, gets up, and leaves the room to go to the bathroom.

"I didn't really want to mention this since he asked me not to, but I'm really grateful that you're his girlfriend. You honestly don't know how much better you've made is life." She explains.

Why is it bad for her to tell that to me. I mean, I know about him sleeping with a bunch of girls before we got together. My guess is he just didn't want to bring it up while I'm in the room.

"Why didn't he want you to bring it up?" I asked.

"Well, you know, I'm sure he's told you about him sleeping with a bunch of different girls, which is something a mother does not want to think about." She put emphasis on the word 'not' as I slightly giggled. "You have totally changed his life for the better, and I mean that. When he started dating Selena, he just totally changed around all of us. He wouldn't answer any of my calls, and same with Scooter and his friends, he started disrespecting us, he just started seeing women as objects because he knew that Selena was cheating on him, so he got her back by doing the same thing, which is never the right thing to do, I know from experience, but that's what made him not have much respect for women anymore, so you've changed him for the better and I really love you for that."
