Chapter 2 - New school crush

Meghan's P.O.V -

The bus finally got to school, I was the last one off. As I walked to the front of the building I saw some boys playing football in the grass, then the ball came right toward me. I panicked and froze, then someone jumped in front of me and caught the ball. He turned around he had brown almost black emo styled hair, maybe I'm not alone "Ya know you move or duck when a ball is coming toward you. Right"? He said, I froze again because this boy was super cute. But he would never go out with me, I mean he is so handsome and then there is me, the girl who everyone wants to stay away from. I kept standing there just looking at him, he was probably thinking I'm a total dork, just standing here like this. "Hey! Joey! Throw the ball"! I heard someone say, he turned toward the other guys and threw the ball. Now's my chance, he has his back to me I can just run into the building and when he tunes around I will be gone and I won't embarrass myself anymore.

I ran toward the building, I got to the door before I could open it someone grabbed my arm. I turned toward them, it the boy or Joey I think is what the guy said. "Hey. Why did you leave"? He asked me, me being me I froze again, I saw him glance at my bracelets then he looked at me with worry in his eyes. Crap! My first day and someone already knows what's under these bracelets. I quickly unfroze and opened the door.

I made it inside, I went straight to the office to get my schedule. I told the desk lady that I was new, and I told her my name. "Oh, yes. Meghan Camarena" she said "Kalel"? She called for someone. Then a girl peered out from a doorway. "Yes"? She said "This is Meghan. She is new show her around will you"? The desk lady asked Kalel, Kalel looked at me. I had a feeling that she was popular and would hate on me or something. She smiled "Sure"! She said as she got papers and my schedule.

Then the boy with the emo hair or Joey, I think was his name walked in the office. "Hey, Kalel" he said, "Hey" she said then went back looking over my papers. Joey sat in one of the chairs in the office, I guess I was staring because he smiled and winked at me. I blushed and turned away. Kalel was looking at me and smiled at me, "Joey, how would you like to give Meghan here a tour of the school" she said to Joey. My eyes got wide at her, she smiled. He stood up "I would love too" he said with a amile I smiled a little too, then a man with a suit walked in "Joey, come to my office, he said "But sir, I'm going to give the new student a tour of the school" he said as he stood next to me, the man just stood there looking confused "You. Giving a new student a tour of the school"? He asked Joey, Joey nodded. The man looked at Kalel, she smiled and shrugged.

Joey then walked to the door and opened it and moved his arm as if to say 'You first' I smiled and walked out the door.
