Chapter 9 - Saved

Joey's P.O.V-

"Goodbye"

Is all I heard Meghan say.

My heart fell, "No! Meghan"! I screamed as I banged on the door. "Meghan"! I screamed. I started to cry as I kept hitting the door. I couldn't take it any longer, I stood back and kicked the door down.

I ran into the bathroom, my heart fell again.

Meghan's P.O.V-

I just want to forget everything, I started the water in the bath. I sighed, I went to the sink drawers. I found an old friend, I haven't done this in a while. I took it and walked back to the tub, I stopped the water. It was enough water to do the deed. I sat at the end of the tub, took the sharp razor and drug it against my skin. I forgot how nice it felt, after a few more cuts I put in on the sink counter. I then walked toward the tub. I heard the school bus, great my brothers are home. I hate for them to come home to a dead sister, but I have to. I looked out the window, I saw...Joey? Why is he here? Ugh. I don't care, he is the reason I'm doing this.

I stripped down to my bra and underwear, I then stepped into the tub. I sat down, the water quickly turned red from my bloody wrists. I sighed, I'm actually doing this. Before I could lay back, I heard a knocked on my door and Joey. "Meghan"? I heard him say, "Go away"! I said softly, because I've been crying and could hardly speak, "Meghan"! Joey said as the doorknob jiggled. "Meghan! Please unlock the door"! He yelled, I was silent "Meghan, please I'm sorry, I love you"! He said, lies. I sighed and said "Goodbye".

I laid back in water as Joey kept beating on the door.

Joey's P.O.V-

I ran in, I then saw Meghan in the tub. I ran over to her. "Meghan"! I said as I picked her up out of the tub. She opened her eyes. "Thank god, your still alive" I whispered. She squirmed from me, "Let. Me. Go" she breathed out her eyes quickly started to tear up.

Meghan's P.O.V-

Joey saved me, even though I didn't need saving.

I was sitting on the toilet seat in dry clothes, as Joey cleaned and wrapped my wrists. "Joey"? I say, he doesn't say anything he just kept wrapping my wrist. "I'm sorry" I say, still nothing.

He stood up and put the goss back in the drawer, he then walked out of the bathroom. "Joey. Wait" I said as I stood up, before I could get to the door I got extremely dizzy and feel right to the ground. My vision was blurry but I saw Joey run back into the bathroom, I felt him pick me up. I then blacked out.
